She’d already known for at least a week that she was pregnant, but lately Asher had talked about how content he was with their family, how much he wanted things to stay the same and it had scared her, more than when she’d first found out she was pregnant as a teenager. She loved their life, and didn’t want anything to go wrong, but she couldn’t ignore this forever, especially with how sick she’d been in the last little while. It was finally time to tell Asher, and with the kids out of the house, and Asher on his way home she knew now was the right time. She had managed to pull herself out of bed, and make herself look half decent, her hair brushed and pair of sweats paired with one of Asher’s old tees before she sat on the couch and waiting for Asher to walk in through the door. “Hi baby.” She spoke softly looking up with a smile, and patting the couch next to her, “We should talk.”
