you  know  ,  with  @pocmuzings​  going  off  rn  ,  it  has  me  thinking  .  this  community  still  has  such  a  long  way  to  go  when  it  comes  to  being  inclusive  .  female  muses  are  constantly  ignored  or  casted  off  with  basic  plots  because  misogyny  runs  so  deep  .  non  -  binary  and  trans  muses  are  flat  out  ignored  and  not  given  anything  because  transphobia  runs  just  as  deep  .  cis  males  though  ?  whew  ,  they’re  still  flocked  to  and  given  such  great  ,  intricate  plots  .  male  muses  are  praised  while  female  muses  are  put  down  for  being  “  too  basic  ”  or  given  the  ole  “  oh  my  god  ,  come  up  with  something  new  !  ”  ,  non  -  binary  and  trans  muses  aren’t  paid  any  mind  because  people  are  too  focused  on  what  is  between  a  character’s  legs  than  the  actual  character  .    but  your  fave  male  muse  is  one  cigarette  away  from  d*ath  and  y’all  fawn  over  him  .  it’s  transparent  and  it’s  getting  old  .  stop  treating  female  muses  as  if  they’re  not  worthy  of  your  time  because  you’re  chasing  that  virtual  dick  ,  stop  treating  non  -  binary  and  trans  muses  as  if  they’re  aliens  .  invest  in  things  that  aren’t  just  f/m  ships  .  invest  in  familial  connections  ,  in  friendships  .  there’s  so  much  to  rp  that  you’re  missing  out  on  because  you  want  to  ship  so  bad  .  that’s  all  ,  thanks  for  coming  to  my  tedtalk  .
