A manipulated picture, supposed to look embossed, from more than a decade ago.

One of the great crimes of historic preservation, or more correctly the lack thereof, was the failure to save this iconic ferry and place it in a maritime museum. Even more than the Space Needle, and well before that rather useless structure was constructed, this working boat was a symbol of the future in the Puget Sound region.

She was a great lady, sadly later she was an eyesore and now she is just a memory.
