âA group of hormone-driven college kids, a few sketchy locals, and a lifetime of secrets. This partyâs gonna be killer.â
Cécile Quay is  20 years old and is a local in Paris. She is currently working as a aspiring professional soccer player.  She is known as Violently Protective Girlfriend around the City of Lights.
Born to a upper-middle class family in the eastern parts of the 11th arrondissement in Paris, Cecile was brought up by nannies while her parents were away at work. Cecile never wanted for anything in her life except the love of her parents. Soccer was her only constant as she would try her best to rid herself of the nannies her parents would hire.
Cecile tried everything to get rid of her nannies. From getting away from under their watch when she was at soccer practice to planting items in their belongings to âaccuseâ them of theft. This did not deter her business executive parents from hiring even more nannies to mind her until she was in her early teens.
Once she was in her teens, Cecile wised up and started not to give a shit about her parents. She put all her efforts into soccer and her relationships with others. She started substituting their love and affection with those of her peers and eventually, her significant other.
Being an athlete, Cecile keeps fit. This means that when a relationship goes sideways, she does not let go. She will try her best to hang on. Letting go of her is at your own peril. Of course, once she does let go of you, you probably have no more social standing or youâre dead. Her exes donât really come forward with horror stories. Itâs in their best interests to keep Cecile happy.
Cecile loves a good party, the social interaction fuels her, she gets to show off her current boyfriend and thereâs alcohol. What more could you ask for? As long as it doesnât affect her performance on the pitch, anything goes.
+ determined, athletic, ambitious
- insecure, demanding, impulsive
Her cleats can break ankles. She has no qualms doing so. A few years ago, a midfielder had the audacity to taunt her on the pitch about, of all things, her parents. That was the biggest mistake the middie could make. 20 minutes and 2 slide tackles later, the middie was carried out of the field on a stretcher and never made it back until next season. The poor midfielder never regained her agility with the ball.
There are two things she cannot tolerate: The mention of her parents and the encroachment of her territory aka donât make a move on her current or past boyfriends. Cecil buried the pain of her parentsâ inattention deep inside herself. She did not want to consider the implications of the actions of her parents, not now, not ever. She spent far too much time thinking about it all her life and now, it was time to focus on herself. Her relationships, not her parents.
She has a high tolerance for pain and alcohol. Once Cecile made the decision to not give a shit her parents, it was easy to make the transition to living her life. She started partying whenever she was off from practice and over the years, she has learned to handle her alcohol. Making friends with the bartender at the club she frequented was not a bad decision either. Pain is her closest friend. Be it physically from training or emotionally at the hands of her parents, she is no stranger to it.
