She smiled Cecily when she sat next to her then she looked away again, thinking of Olivia. “Yeah, ask away.”
Johanna’s smile made Cecily’s heart skip a beat and she desperately wished she could put that same smile on Johanna’s face every day for the rest of her life. “I was wondering if you, uh, wanted to go out sometime?” She rubbed her nose as she looked at Johanna nervously.
Jo had her eyes set off somewhere far away as she licked on her ice cream, wanting to be in a place with Olivia. Olivia; the mere thought of her sent her into light yet frequent fits. She couldn’t really think of anything else but her.
Cecily spotted Johanna and fixed her hair before she walked over. “Hi, Johanna,” she said amorously and sat next to her. Being so close to Johanna sent shivers up her spine and she couldn’t help but grin. “Can I ask you something?”
M!A: Until the end of this event, you are madly in love with Johanna.
“—Yes.” He nods in agreement, “It fits her.”
She grins. “Okay, Luna it is. You want to hold her?”
“What about…” He pauses as he thinks of a creative name, “Ms. Nieve?” He finally says, in a questioning manner because he isn’t quite sure if the name is creative enough or cute enough.
“Ms. Nieve?” She looks at the kitten. “She doesn’t look like a Ms. Nieve to me. I don’t know... Maybe... What about Luna? As in the moon.”
“Not as much as I used to. I used to miss it a lot, but I don’t have anywhere to go back to and Lucy being watched over at Sunny’s. Sunny is a very close friend of my family so I get to visit her when I want.”
Cecily smiles as she listens to Chase speak. “That’s really nice that she’s doing that for you. Do you visit often?”
Rolling his eyes he continues out the door. “Yeah thanks.”
“When I lived at home yeah. I lived on a farm.”
“Oh, that’s cool. Do you miss it?”
Luca stops in the doorway but doesn’t turn around. This better be good.
She waits for him to stop before finally speaking. “Um... If you need a place to stay or just somewhere to go when you need to, uh, hide out, you can come here. Or just...for anything. I mean it.”
Chase smiled and shrugged. He pet the kitten for a while, while he thought before looking up at Cecily. “I dunno, i keep thinkin’ back to the horse I had. I called her Lucy but obviously ya don’t have to use that name for yer kitty.”
“Lucy is cute,” she says with a smile. “You had a horse?”
“Of course you are.” He says shaking his head. “If you really were worried, don’t you think someone would have asked months ago?” He stood up. “Thanks for hiding me out. Enjoy your cat.” He said with his brow furrowed before making his way towards the door.
Cecily frowns and watches him leave, speaking when he’s near the door. “Wait, Luca.”
Olivia nods. “Alright well, see you later.”
He shook his head, “I never thought to name them. I feel like you gotta see them before you name them.”
She nods in understanding. “True. So what should I name her?” She pets the kitten’s head.
“Sometimes Tucker’s.” He said rolling his eyes. “You’re a curious thing aren’t you?”
She shrugs. “I’m just worried about you.”
“Hell no. Definitely fucking don’t like it there.”
She nods. “Oh, okay. Who’s cabin are you staying in again?”
Chase sighs. “Yeah a puppy. I’ve always wanted a puppy or like three….”
“Did you ever think of names for them?”
She nods “Of course you are. Though I doubt I’ll find anyone around here. You won’t know anyone probably.”
She shrugs. “Probably not. But still, let me know how your search goes.”
