Wild Child

Her face fell when she realized she was in love with someone else. She pulled her hand back and just hold on to the sillage from her touch. “I can’t.” She said, her eyes on the ground as tears started to brim. “As much as I am willing to do everything for you, I can’t.”

Olivia started tearing up as well. “But, why?” She reached for Johanna’s hands again.

“Are you kidding? You are not pretty.” She stroked her face lightly but affectionately. “You are the most beautiful person I know." She suddenly profusely blushed as she realized what she just said.

At first she pulled back at what she said. What the hell did that mean? But then she smiled and took Johanna’s hands. “Help me? Get her to love me?”

When Olivia sits down, she dropped her sundae cone and her face lit up. She giggled but her reaction quickly died down seeing her almost in tears. “Who hurt you?” She said softly as she reached out for her face. “I will kill them.” She smiled then stroked her face gingerly.

Half of what Johanna says doesn’t even register with her. “How come she doesn’t seem to notice me?” She whined. “I’m pretty aren’t I?”

Jo had her eyes set off somewhere far away as she licked on her ice cream, wanting to be in a place with Olivia. Olivia; the mere thought of her sent her into light yet frequent fits. She couldn’t really think of anything else but her.

Olivia sits down across from Johanna in near tears and wipes her eyes before getting her compact out to try to fix her makeup.

He let her dragged her further into the beach. “Yeah. Tell me everything. So, you have your first target yet?”

Olivia smiles with a nod “First Bliss, then Mel, then Alona and finally Peter.”

A smirk formed on his lips. “Awesome. I’m not sure who Peter is but I’m in. You want me to find loppholes on your plan so we can avoid it?”

Olivia threw her arms around him hugging him tight. “Come on, I’ll tell you all about it.” She pulls him further down the beach.

She nods “Of course you are. Though I doubt I’ll find anyone around here. You won’t know anyone probably.”

She raises her eyebrows. “Interested in what?”

“Me? You asked me to let you know if I figured out who I’d go after. If you’re that invested it makes me think you like me.”

“Is it? I don’t really even know who I’d go after now. Honestly I don’t see many options.”

She nods. “Okay. So how did you forget this night? Were you drunk? High?”

“Oh yeah drunk.” She smiled. “I was disappointed with men, I made the decision last night that I’m gonna date women for a little. Thank you alcohol.”

She nods. “Alright.” She starts walking out. “What if you don’t find your belongings?”

She rolls her eyes slightly. “I mean their just things and I can have them replaced but it’d be nice to piece the rest of my night together and they were my favorite heels and that bra was expensive but the most important is my necklace and birth control.”
