Post-Op Day 5.

Thought it would be a good day to update everyone.

Overall I’m doing great, that’s what the nurses and doctors keeping saying. I’m taking Ibuprofen for pain control, which is pretty well controlled. Swelling bruising has been very minimal both on my forehead and down under. I tire really easy still, but I’m walking well and getting back to my normal self. I’ve been getting to know all the staff here having a hard time letting them do everything for me, they’ve given up.

Tomorrow is a huge day in my recover, we are removing my stitches on my head and the ones keeping all the packing in place down under. Tomorrow I’ll get to see “Lola”, as one of my nurses calls her. I’m really excited, I know she’s going to be a mess at first but all of this has been for her. We start dilating right away, 5 times the first day, this is part of my life now and it’s something I’ve waiting for so long I’m can’t even remember the first time anymore.
