Hi, I'm Abyss/Dune/Tevenn (he/him/doll/void)

I'm an adult artist who loves selfshipping. Also english isn't my first language, so I can happen to missread and misunderstand things, or making strange phrasings from time to time. You can also ask me for precisions if I say something confusing, just be polite and nice about it.

So as mentionned, I'm a selfshipper. This is (mostly*) a selfship blog. So if you're following me from a certain fandom, keep that in mind.

And I swear a lot, so maybe don't follow if you're not comfortable with that

(*I'm also a crocheter and share my work and wips from time to time. Also, I may share some random non ship art, but it's extremly rare since selfshipping is basically what I do all the time)

I don't mind if doubles sharers enjoys what I do, but I'm very uncomfortable seeing ship art and others gushing about characters I love like an irl partner. That's why if any doubles want to follow me, I won't be following back for my own comfort. This isn't out of spite, I'm just trying to make my space comfortable.

Note: I'm non-sharing only about romantic/queerplatonic ships !! If you're seeing any of my f/os as a friend or a family member, I will be more than happy to interact with you !!

I block freely, mostly people who are shipping incest, pedo stuff, zoo stuff, selfship with real people/anyone shipping real people together, and any shit alt right and queer exclusionists. I also block any shippers who are explicitly violent/mean spirited towards other shippers. I don't care why you'd do this, there isn't ANY excuses for that kind of behavior. Also I put mysoginists and "mysandrists" in the same basket idc if you do it as a joke or not.

I'm glad Im not blinded by nostalgia or fanatism for the og media cuz... the opinions I find about the 1999 Asterix movie-

Does it deserves such low ratings? I don't think so. It's a nice movie, with fun, action, good music (fuck the music is so awesome), the costumes are great, the story in itself is also good imo, by no means I think it's a bad movie

However... the sexism, the fatphobia, all played a jokes, not good... also wile I enjoy a lot Christian Clavier's voice acting as Asterix in the 2018 movie, and I don't hate his version in the 1999 live action (and I still need to watch Mission Cleopatra but I'm pretty sure he does a great job in it, even better than in the first movie)... That's not Asterix, not the way he acts not his way to speak, that's not the real Asterix. I'll also blame his dialogues but as far as I know he's not the one who wrote the dialogues, but man he's so unsympathetic in this version- I love him a lot and he can be touching but hhhh.... the real Asterix would never say that stuff or treat Obelix that way..... Also bonus point why does Getafix feels more like some random old man than the real guy like- That's not Getafix that's just "old wise man in a white robe" dejhbcdjhbdjk
