The person I’ve been in love with for 5 years moves to Texas in a day or two. He claims he had feelings for me too.

But.

He never came to say goodbye to me. Never even tried.

I am heartbroken. But also baffled that someone could respect me and care about me so little. That’s what hurt the most.

I don’t know why it’s surprising, when he’s treated me like shit for those 5 years.

I deserve better than this.

But I won’t pretend it didn’t hurt to have to block his number and every social media account possible.

Why did I have to be treated this way? And why did he never care?
