Julian: he's a bit of a magpie, but he has a surprising eye for earrings. especially ones with a piratey theme, you look good as a rascal

Asra: necklaces with different magical purposes, usually focused around making life happier/interesting (it's happened twice in canon)

Nadia: she likes gifting you tasteful sets of jewelry that match outfits she's seen you wear. some of them might have her name engraved ...

Muriel: he doesn't really do jewelry. ...until his mind wanders to marriage, and suddenly he can't stop carving rings. be nice to him

Portia: she has a weakness for charm bracelets and likes to bring you the most outlandish ornaments she can find to add to your collection

Lucio: EVERYTHING. seriously, if he could have it his way, you'd be dripping in gold and silver and precious stones. you deserve it

uhhh ok. im thinking what if like. MC and M6 are on a walk and MC finds a flower and gives them to their beloved saying it reminds them of them if that makes any sense

Julian: oh, he's not used to receiving flowers at all. full body blushes and tries to play it off by comparing it to you instead (it doesn't work, he keeps stuttering for the rest of the day)

Asra: doesn't fluster at all, accepting it with a dimpled smile and tucking it into their hair, asking you how they look to fish for compliments. and then trips three times in five minutes

Nadia: she's used to receiving flowers and compliments from people. she's not used to receiving them from people she's attracted or attached to. kisses you senseless in thanks

Muriel: he needed a warning, okay? he's not going to be able to look at that type of flower (which grows all over Vesuvia) without blushing for weeks. Holds it delicately for the rest of the day

Portia: so excited and happy with the compliment that she picks bunches more of the same kind and teaches you how to make flower crowns. presses and dries them as keepsakes

Lucio: when he was count, he got way fancier presents and much bigger compliments than this. but you actually mean it, so he's going to save it in his pocket and pout when it wilts

about a week ago @bottomvalerius made this post that made my brain go so here’s my little re-design of Nadia’s masquerade outfit

It looks beautiful! This matches Nadia’s color scheme perfectly!

idk if this is an unpopular opinion but while I love Nadia’s masquerade costume a lot for aesthetic alone, it really doesn’t fit her character, familiar, and or Patron and it. Bugs me ? lmao

To further elaborate:

excluding her hunting outfit (which I personally think is meant to mirror Lucio as she was literally hunting him) and her. Naked sprite, Nadia’s color-scheme is pretty light, the main colors being light purples, jade greens, and gold. This is reflected in both Chandra and the High Priestess’s designs:

The red and black primarily appear in the HP’s face and talons, but her main colors (especially in her clothes) are also similar lavenders —> pink gradients like Chandra.

Unlike with her hunting outfit, I don’t really see the reasoning why the devs would want her colors for the masquerade to mimic Lucio’s so much. The whole point is her severing herself from her ties to him. In all honesty, her outfit, feathers included, work much better for Julian, and the outfits weirdly look like they’re meant to go together:

Julian really isn’t present for most of her route, so again, I don’t see the reason why to really pair them like that together in such a way.

I would say all the others (excluding Lucio’s, I also feel like his outfit didn’t really reflect him much at all too) really represent themself and or their patron in some sort of way. Looking @ Nadia’s outfit, you would assume her familiar is a raven or another black bird like Julian, but it’s a white owl and so is her patron ? lmao

Idk! Food for thought. Again, I love the outfit as a stand-alone, but I think it doesn’t really. Reflect Nadia as much as it is just very hot LMAO it could work very well for her reverse ending, but not in the neutral state of the route tbh
