Chuuya never felt like a human . He would do anything to prove his humanity . The thing is you never realized that until now .
Sitting in the living room's couch , rolled up in your soft blanket while your head rest on the soft pillow you brought from your room , the only light coming in was the tv screen and the only sounds heard were coming from it . You were at your apartment enjoying a day off school/work . It was probably the most busy week of your life ! Your work/study environment requests a lot from you .
If you calculate right you had only 10 hours of sleep in this entire week.
How crazy !
The first thing you did this evening was collapsing on your bed , you didn't even bother changing your clothes . The only thing that woke you up was a call from your phone . Once you held the device , half asleep , you saw the contact name and your eyes shot wide open .

"chuuya ? " You thought .
He is a friend of yours . Or that's how you think ... You don't know what's the nature of your relationship to be honest .
You remember sitting in hospital bed after he saved you from something you don't remember . For some reason he kept checking on you , even after you left the hospital . You guys hang out all the time . Yet you don't know if it's friendship or .... Something ...
" took you forever " the first thing you hear from the hat lover .
" i was asleep " you barely said with hoarse voice .
" at this time ? It's six pm ! " His voice raised . You are not surprised he is one angry man .
" I'm tired ..." You said little bit above whisper , putting your hand under your shin titling your head a bit on the pillow .
" busy day , huh ? " He said quietly , if not softly .
" week .." you corrected barely heard able .
" well ... I wanted to say that I .. uh .... I wanted to pay you a visit since I finished my work .... " He murdered .
" you can still come " you said almost immediately , voice all loud .
He chuckled .
You blushed .
" well yeah ... I am coming " he said before he hang up .
In the comfort of your pillow and warm blanket you look at the tv screen running.
So is your mind .
Why would chuuya come ?
Why would he want to see you every opportunity he had ?
Why do you get excited Everytime he say he is coming ? Why would you walk around to make sure your apartment is clean ?
If your hair looks good .
If your smell is good .
Why do you listen to every word he says with complete focus until you lose which part he is in his story because you are lost in his eyes ?
Why do you ask him about his meals even and scolds him if he skips one ?
You remember that you cried once because he came to your apartment with blood and cuts everywhere in his body .
You thought he would die in your arms that night.
Wait...
Why was he in your arms ?
You know a little bit about chuuya ... He told you some short stories and random events here and there .
You heard him once saying " never knew being human is tiring ... "
You remember chuckling at that because he was drunk .
Again , why would he tell you ?
You remember the effort chuuya puts whenever he comes .
Hair brushed , clean clothes , beautiful smell .
He never met you without bringing something to you . It's always expensive .
You pay for yourself and both of you but ... He mostly pays for you ... Even when you insist that you can pay for yourself .
After all you don't want to make him feel as if you only see him as a money bank .
He is there when you need .
He listens to you , even if he have a lot in his mind .
He save you even if it will get him into trouble.
He stand by you when you can't stand by yourself .
He is always there when needed .
Even if not needed , he is there .
It's almost as if he wants you to see him as ...
Human .

You suddenly sat up from your comforting position .
" He wants me to see him as human ! "
You said it out loud again . The thing he said when he is drunk wasn't a joke . You know that chuuya wasn't a human before .... It's something he never told you but you heard it from his ex partner when you both met him at the hat store . You still don't know how he ended up there if he , as he claimed , hates hats . Even he didn't tell you much , he only stated " chuuya wasn't always a human ... But he is a very good one so take good care of him ! " .
Chuuya wants you to believe in his humanity .
You still don't know about how he wasn't human before , but will you know more than his ex partner ?
You did asked him about it once indirect . He never answered you . He was afraid of losing You.
Chuuya is very loyal , caring , understanding person , the reason he was trying so hard is because he wants to prove that he is a human .
" Oi ! Open the door ! " You heard his voice . You quickly opened the door to see his face , his blue eyes were looking at yours .
" i brought some snacks for you ... Ia ain't risking you easting me out of hunger ... And I know how much of a food lover you are " he murmured in an annoying tone .
You let him in , sat on the couch after he kept talking about his long day and how much he hates Mori . You couldn't listen to half of what he said .
You wanted him to know that you see him as a human being .
" oi ! Are you listening to me ? Or am I talking to a wall ? " He said annoyed again .
" you don't have to " you said before you even think .
" what ? " He questioned eyebrow up .
" you ... Don't have to .... Try hard ... " You said unsure about what to say .
" make a correct and understandable sentence please " . He said " anyway ..." He started in his story .
You took a deep breath .
" you are my favorite human "
He suddenly froze .
He heard you right ?
Chuuya turns his head around slowly to see your blushed face .
You didn't say anything instead you softly smiled at him .
Chuuya's heart is beating so fast he is afraid you would hear it beating .
He can't wait anymore .
He grabbed you shin softly and leaned in slowly not breaking eye contact with you before his lips touched with yours .
You were frozen , you didn't expect it .
But you closed your eyes and returned the kiss .
Chuuya melted in your touch . He dreamed about this moment every day before he goes to sleep .
He doesn't want to let go .
But he have to , you guys will suffocate.
He slowly pulled away before he puts his forehead on yours .
