The auburn squinted at the approaching figure, more so when the lights in his cell came on. It was much easier to see when the lights were off, and he couldn’t tell if it was because he was use to the dark, the lights were too bright, or because of testing. Luckily, he was a bit sure that he knew who had come to his rescue, even if it had pissed him off a bit. Though to be honest, he’d gladly accept the man’s help, despite the differences his group had with the taller man’s. Of course just because he was accepting didn’t mean that he was going to be nice, though at the moment, he was just more upset that he was still strapped down.
When the man talked, the smaller male writhed a bit in his spot, looking like he was in pain, even showing signs of it on his face. For some reason, to Yata, the other’s voice was booming inside the small space. He was sure that the other wasn’t talking as loud as it sounded to him, though either way it was hurting his ears. It was enough to cause him to open his eyes slightly, just so he would be able to glare at the man dressed in blue.
“Yeah, no shit. Do me a favor and shut up, or a least whisper. Fucking hell you sound so loud. It hurts. How did ya even get in here?” Yata hissed out the words, keeping his own volume down.
On the plus side, at least in Yata’s case, Munakata would be able to get his bindings off with no problem. The other could just slash through them without causing the skateboard too much pain. At least the pain would be better than hot metal on his flesh.
There was the raise of an eyebrow at the complaint, since he hadn’t been talking very loudly at all, but he understood why the other would perceive it as such. It wasn’t surprising in the least, in fact it worried Reishi slightly. Even though the Yatagarasu wasn’t under his care, they were not complete strangers either.
“My apologies, Yata-kun. However, I am part of the military fraction that owns this facility,” he replied, speaking lighter than before, “Unfortunately.”
A lot of the important details had been omitted but it was fine as long as the younger male got the gist of it. He was by no means a supporter of what they did here. A small beep followed by the sound of the cell’s door being opened allowed him to enter and find his way to the other’s side. It only took a few seconds for him to rid them of their metal bindings, even though he didn’t have the key to unlock them with.
「…I see.」
So the people of this world had yet to reach that level of technology. Realizing this, he saw a major issue with his very presence on this planet. He didn’t want to be the cause of any further advancement— especially in the wrong direction. And worst of all, he could potentially be targeted by scientists and governments.
…That’s how things would normally go.
But this man didn’t worry him. Instead, he cooperated with the man’s questions. Besides— he had nowhere else to go.
「Your people aren’t that different from my creators, then. Eventually you’ll have the required technology to make such advancements. Though, I’m not so sure about the alloys…As it is, many of my internal components copy the functions of human organs. Others improve on it.」
The King nodded as he listened to their explanation. He had known that they were not from this country, and despite being a very open-minded individual he had not expected Japan to be fairly behind other countries in the field of technology. Unless other countries had created automatons in cooperation with each other, there was no way Japan would be behind them. He knew fully well that was not the case either (he was very aware of the happenings around the world), which could only mean the one he was speaking with was not from this planet.
Intriguing.
However, that meant that there was a possibility of a foreign threat. Even though he didn’t feel any kind of threat from them, it was his duty to protect the citizens of Shizume City, and Japan, so it wouldn’t hurt to take a little precaution. Observation seemed sufficient for that purpose, and for his own purposes.
“That is exciting to know. I cannot imagine all the possibilities it will bring to our society,” he smiled. “If it’s not too much trouble, would you care to join me for a cup of tea? I would love to hear more about you.”
The moraine adored to go visit her foster father while he was working despite the disapproving looks & malicious whispers. It wasn’t easy to be Kaname’s daughter. Ai needed to be strong and ignore the hunters who couldn’t comprehend her. The infanta was different from her biological father.
“I’m so sorry…” Unintentionally the imperishable had ended up bumping against a stranger. “I should pay more attention to the path. – Are you okay, sir?” Questioned gently, wanting to ensure that the other person was fine. Was he a hunter? Earnestly she didn’t want to be attacked or compared to Kaname. @celesteum
“Yes, it was my mistake, I should have been paying more attention,” he replied, bowing his head slightly as a sign of apology.
Only upon straightening up again did he recognise the lady he had bumped into. All hunters that passed through this branch of the Order were familiar with her presence. However, this was Reishi’s first time meeting her face-to-face. Of course, given his background he knew fully well who she was but there were less than a handful of people, or rather vampires, that knew of him. And he preferred it that way.
“My name is Munakata Reishi, I am currently a hunter. I assume you are here to visit Kiryuu Zero, Kuran Ai-kun?”
’ so …? ’
sallo yawns into their cupped hand, certainly a rude gesture in front of such a high ranking captain of such an important establishment. well, it’s not like sallo very much cared about that sort of thing. all types of authorities seemed to rub them the wrong way anyways. dull azure eyes blink away the faint sleepiness in them, hand lowering back down to their sides. their posture sloppy and slouched, a hand dug into one of their pockets and expression apathetic. the only thing they could think of right now was their next victim.
’ scepter four … i expected you guys to have some top rank facility for treatment. a bit surprising when the higher ups called me in the hospital because scepter four needed assistance for their troops. ‘
@celesteum
It wasn’t everyday he was greeted with a yawn, once in a while Fushimi would show the same gesture so he wasn’t bothered by it at all. In fact, it made him slightly more interested in the young doctor before him. He had heard rumours about them and their medical skills, and wanting the best for his troops and those they had in custody, he had personally put in a request for them.
“I am grateful for your assistance, Dr. Sallo. Unfortunately, we are a little short on medical personnel at the moment. I hope it isn’t too much trouble for you.”
“Don’t get alarmed but I’m being followed. Act normal.” ( hello~ )

He paused for a moment to survey their surroundings but he didn’t catch a glimpse of anybody suspicious. He was no policeman but it was still his duty to keep the people safe, so he went along with the other’s words.
“Shall we head to lunch then? I know a lovely establishment,” he replied with a smile. “It’s also very convenient for these sorts of situations.”
“You sound ghastly, like some 90-year-old woman.”

“I do not understand your analogy Yata-kun. Or rather, what does a 90 year old woman sound like?”
“This is what hatred looks like! This is what it does when it catches hold of you! It’s eating me alive, and very soon it will kill me!”
Studio Ghibli Quotes || Not accepting
The King had always known hatred as an emotion so the younger male’s sudden outburst perplexed him. It sounded as if the emotion was a separate entity altogether.
“I’m uncertain of the situation, but if there’s any way I can help. I will do all that is in my power to help you, Yata-kun.”
:: Status update
ooc :: i underestimated how difficult it would be to write my thesis + another essay on the side so going to take time off rping and focus. that’s also what i’ve been doing for the past few days. i will do replies and asks asap, but i might not be active for a while...sorry but i hope you’re all doing well!
“I think I can handle it.”

“Are you certain, Totsuka-kun?” he asked.
The job in question was not particularly life-threatening, however there was a huge risk. A risk the Blue King was surprisingly reluctant about taking. Luckily, the younger blond had volunteered before he needed to say anything. But watching them balanced on top of a tall ladder rather precariously concerned him.
As for why they were here, they were engaged in the activity of cake decorating. He had enlisted a certain Homra member to aid him, though it was more of a coincidence. Although in retrospect, he probably should have reconsidered the idea of creating a 2-meter tall cake (with a little too much anko in it for his liking) for Scepter 4′s annual Christmas party this year.

“Indeed. I believe your words show much wisdom.”
Despite the small smile on his lips, he sounded distant, even more so than usual. Those words undoubtedly resounded with his own feelings on the matter. Nevertheless, he had never been one to cling to sentiments.
“However, I do believe it is best not to dwell on it. Life may be harsh, but there may be some pleasant surprises along the way. ”
Such as this meeting.

「What’s there to tell?」 Or more like, where to even start? 「I’m an android. That much should be clear– unless your planet’s culture isn’t advanced in the realm of synthetics yet.」
“Well, I believe my country has yet to truly delve into the field of synthetics. Although there are androids, their range of movement is rather limited. As are their ability to maintain conversations and understand human emotions. So I was simply curious upon seeing one such as yourself, hence my earlier question. Therefore there is much I’d like to know.”
Although he didn’t want to be a bother to a stranger, his curiousity got the better of him.
ooc :: i really want munakata to have acquaintances who he can invite whenever he wants to try something new. not necessarily just trying out new food or anything, but also new hobbies or anything that he finds fascinating. of course, he’d be willing to join the other in their interests as well. like, threads where they go fishing or skydiving or play boardgames all night. seriously though, who doesn’t want to play twister with the blue king himself?
“There must be something you fear.”
↳ I forget what meme this was omg
「The IMITATION of fear, maybe. Why are you so concerned, anyways? Why does it matter? Why are you even here? Leave.」
“I see. My apologies for the sudden query, however it is my first time meeting one such as yourself. I hope it is not wrong to assume you are beyond the average robot. I found myself fascinated before I knew it,” he smiled, “If it isn’t too much trouble could you tell me more about yourself?”
ooc :: Hi guys! I’m not sure how these work, But if you don’t mind interacting with an indie Munakata Reishi from K, Then hit that LIKE or REBLOG button so I can check out your blog. I'd love to rp with canon muses and ocs!

Yata breathed out heavily, most of his energy having been sapped away. He had been struggling, but it was proving to be pointless. Despite his efforts, he wasn’t going to be able to go anywhere. The reason for this was because he was held down by metal clamps. Normally he’d just burn through such things, but something was hindering his ability. It wasn’t that he couldn’t use it, it just hurt when the metal would get too hot.
Suddenly, the auburn heard what sounded like footsteps. Immediately he shut his eyes and calmed his breathing as best as he could. He didn’t want any of the people to know that he was awake. Normally if they did, then they would start doing things, not that he was sure what they were, but he thought of them as experiments. So far, he had been lucky as they hadn’t been too extreme but lately the tests were starting to get worse.
He continued to listen to the footsteps, taking notice that they did sound a bit different than what the people who worked in the building. They were always walking around in a hurry and loudly, but these were different. It caused him to frown a bit, even cracking open one of his eyes. Yata was curious about who was there, despite the fact it could still be dangerous to him.
This wasn’t his first time in such a facility, which was by no means a good thing. These facilities were rare, or perhaps very well-hidden was a better description. It was here they experimented on those with supernatural powers, the said powers were a relatively new discovery, hence the heightened interest and concern regarding those that possess them. With the world dominated by military states, everything was about weaponry and military prowess, and of course, individuals with supernatural powers quickly became desired for as weapons and subjects of experiments. It quickly became almost impossible for one to live a ‘normal’ life once it was discovered they has such abilities. For now, there were only a small number of these individuals which made it all the more difficult for them to survive out in the world alone.
Reishi was one of them, he, too, possessed powers far more than what one could imagine. He had made sure never to show his hand in front of those he did not trust. It had allowed him to become distinguished military force, and now he was relatively free to move around at his own free-will. It also gave him access to important information regarding labs such as this one. He abhorred the obvious breach of human rights in these facilities so he, and a select few of his comrades, had vowed to destroy them and release any prisoners that may be held there.
Bringing it back to the present, he found himself standing outside a cell containing a rather familiar face. The other obviously worn-out, but conscious. Considering that his men had already secured this facility, he felt less urgency. Nevertheless, they didn’t have all the time in the world.
“Good evening, Yata Misaki-kun. What an odd place to find you in. Am I right to assume you were captured and imprisoned here against your will?”
