Pet Names: "My orchid", "Dearest" or "My star"
Tighnari doesn't sugarcoat anything, if you eat a strange mushroom he will lecture you. But beneath that strict exterior is a incredibly warm heart. He isn’t going to use silly or overly mushy nicknames, especially not in front of Collei or the other Forest Rangers. Instead when you two are walking at night he’ll reach out, wrap his tail lightly around your waist to pull you closer and murmur "Dearest".
If he’s feeling particularly soft he might call you "My orchid".
If you catch him staring at you while he’s organizing his research notes he’ll just smile softly, brush his long ears against your cheek and whisper that you are his absolute favorite view in the entire rainforest.
Cyno has an incredibly intense and intimidating reputation as the General Mahamatra but when it comes to you he is just a deeply devoted, surprisingly gentle man who just wants to make you happy (even if his method involves terrible puns).
He will never use loud nicknames. If he calls you something other than your name it’s going to be "My oasis", and he will save it for the moments when you two are completely alone. He’ll bury his face in your hair, holding you so tightly against his chest it’s like he’s terrified of letting go and whisper it into your skin.
Pet Names: "Stupid" (affectionate, obviously) or "Beloved" (spoken with absolute vulnerability)
Oh, this boy is an absolute textbook tsundere. He has so much trust issues and emotional baggage that using a traditional pet name makes his brain short-circuit out of pure embarrassment. In public or when he’s trying to hide how flustered he is, he’ll cross his arms, roll his eyes, and call you "Stupid" or "Idiot" when you do something clumsy (but the way his eyes soften and the way he immediately steps in to help you gives him away completely).
But when the night falls and you two are floating high up in the quiet Sumeru skies the defensive walls completely crumble. He’ll gently cup your face with his cool hands, look straight into your eyes with an intensity that will make your breath hitch and whisper "Beloved".
Alhaitham absolutely loathes grand, dramatic displays of affection and thinks words like "babe" are completely illogical. However, his love for you is incredibly physical, constant, and quietly domestic. When you two are sitting in his living room, him reading a massive book and you doing your own thing, he will suddenly pull you onto his lap without a word, rest his chin on your head and keep reading. If he uses a nickname, it’s going to be a soft "My quiet" or "Dearest" when he removes his soundproof earpieces just to listen to your voice.
He doesn't need to say "I love you" because the way he effortlessly shares his sacred personal space with you says it all.
Unlike his roommate, Kaveh wears his heart completely on his sleeve and loves the beautiful aesthetics of romance. He will casually drop a bright "Darling" or "Honey" while pacing around the room, stressing over his latest architectural blueprints. But when he is genuinely inspired or when he's feeling overwhelmed by the harsh realities of life, he will sit at your feet, rest his head on your lap and call you "My masterpiece". He’ll look up at you with those warm eyes and tell you that he has designed the most beautiful buildings in Sumeru but nothing he ever creates could ever compare to the perfect joy of just being loved by you.
He loves holding your hands, playing with your fingers and pouring his absolute soul into making sure you feel like the most cherished person in the world.
Sethos is an absolute breath of fresh air, he is charismatic, energetic, loyal and has a very charming and confident vibe. His pet names are incredibly natural, smooth and fun. He loves wrapping a confident arm around your waist, flashing you a dazzling, toothy grin and calling you "Babe" or "Sunshine" right in front of the desert scouts, completely unbothered by anyone's teasing. He is fiercely proud of you.
But when you two are sitting by a campfire in the desert under a blanket of stars, his voice drops to a much softer tone. He’ll gently trace the line of your jaw, look at you with total adoration and call you "My treasure". He spent his life preparing for heavy destinies and leadership but in his mind, winning your heart is the absolute greatest victory he has ever achieved.

Kazuha wanders the world with nothing but his sword and his poetry, because he has lost so much in his past his love for you is incredibly tender and protective. He isn’t one for modern nicknames. Instead, he will call you "My quiet wind" while you two are resting under a tree listening to the rustle of the forest. He’ll gently untangle your hair, brushing a stray leaf away and murmur the nickname as if it were part of a haiku he’s composing for you.
When he looks at you and calls you "Beloved", his voice drops to a low and breathless whisper that makes your heart stop. He will hold your hand against his cheek, silently memorizing the warmth of your skin.
Thoma is the absolute king of domestic romance. He is completely unembarrassed about showing affection and loves taking care of you in every single way possible. He drops a casual"Sweetheart" or "Honey" while walking through the Kamisato Estate, handing you a freshly knitted scarf or a plate of hot dango he made himself.
But his most endearing nickname for you is "My warmth". He’ll say it on those cold, rainy Inazuman nights when you two are curled up under a blanket together. He’ll wrap his arms around your waist, bury his face in your shoulder and sigh happily, telling you that no matter how stressful his duties get, coming home to his "warmth" is the only thing that keeps him going.
Pet Names: "Babe", "My queen" or "Honey" (yelled across a crowded street)
Itto does not have a subtle bone in his massive, muscular body. He is loud, incredibly proud and wants every single living being in Inazuma (and probably all Teyvat) to know that you belong to him. He will drape his heavy arm over your neck, completely throwing you off balance, and yell "That's my queen right there!" to the Arataki Gang while laughing his head off.
He loves calling you "Babe" or "Honey" because he thinks it sounds incredibly cool and flashy, but the sweet part? When he loses a card game or gets banned from a local festival, he’ll pout like a giant puppy, sit on the floor and hide his face against your knees, whining for his "honey" to comfort him. He is chaotic but his heart is 100% gold and he treats you like actual royalty.
Pet Names: "My general" (playfully), "Sunshine" or "Darling"
Gorou is an absolute sweetheart who spends his life leading troops but the second you hold his hand, his general persona completely melts away. He is easily flustered, especially if you catch him off guard. If he tries to call you "Darling", his tail will start wagging uncontrollably behind him, giving away exactly how happy he is even if he’s trying to keep a straight face.
He loves calling you "Sunshine" because to him your smiles are the only things that brought light to the dark, stressful days of the Watatsumi resistance. If you two are relaxing at the camp, he might playfully call you "My general", giving you a tiny, mock salute just to see you laugh before pulling you down into a tight, warm hug where he buries his face in your neck, completely content.
Ayato is a master of political schemes and elegance so his affection is smooth and deeply deliberate. In public he maintains absolute decorum but he loves to subtly tease you. He’ll catch your eye from across a formal meeting room, pouring himself a cup of boba tea and mouth the word "Darling" just to watch you look down and blush while trying to stay serious.
Behind closed doors the heavy mask of the Kamisato Clan head completely drops. He will pull you into his lap while he’s buried under a mountain of paperwork, rest his forehead against yours and call you "My dove". Calling you that means you are his peace, the one person he trusts completely with his vulnerabilities.
Pet Names: "My favorite mystery", "Sweetheart" or "Watson" (as a total joke)
Heizou is playful and incredibly smug. He treats your entire relationship like a game that he never wants to stop playing. He loves calling you "My favorite mystery" because he claims that even with his top-tier detective intuition, he can never fully predict the adorable ways you’ll react when he flirts with you. He’ll lean into your personal space, tapping the tip of your nose with a cheeky grin and drop a casual "Sweetheart" right into your ear just to see your heartbeat speed up.
If you two are working on a case together, he might teasingly call you his "Watson", pulling you along by the hand while he chimes about his theories. But when he’s genuinely tired after a long investigation, he’ll quietly lay his head on your chest, wrap his arms tightly around you and look up at you with soft eyes, dropping the smug act just to tell you how much he loves being wrapped up in your warmth.

Xiao carries millennia of trauma, blood, and karmic debt so the concept of romance and pet names is something completely alien (terrifying) to him. He firmly believes he is a weapon meant only for destruction so when he falls for you, it completely shatters his world view. He will never use loud or trendy nicknames. Instead, if he calls you anything other than your name, it will happen during the quietest hours of the night on the roof of Wangshu Inn. He’ll be holding you tightly against his chest, listening to your heartbeat to soothe his pain and whisper "My sanctuary". To him, you aren't just a partner; you are the only place in all of Teyvat where his soul feels safe and free from agony. On the rare occasions he calls you "Beloved" kissing the crown of your head whole his hands are trembling slightly as he realizes how desperately he wants to stay alive just to protect your smile.
Pet Names: "My lady/lord" (playful chivalry), "My muse", or "Darling"
Xingqiu is completely obsessed with martial arts novels and romantic poetry, so his entire approach to affection is incredibly theatrical. In public or when he’s trying to fluster you he will drop into a dramatic, sweeping bow, look up at you through his eyelashes and call you "My lady/lord" with a smug, teasing grin. He absolutely loves to playfully embarrass you in front of Chongyun.
But when the two of you steal away to a secluded corner of the Wanwen Bookhouse he will rest his head in your lap while you read together, lightly tracing lines on your palm, and call you "Darling" in a voice that is soft and sincere. He also loves calling you "My muse" because he secretly writes romantic poems about you in the margins of his book drafts.
Pet Names: "My cool breeze" or "Honey" (spoken with an immediate blush)
Because of his pure yang energy, Chongyun has spent his entire life suppressing his emotions, fearing that getting too excited or passionate will make him lose control. Falling in love with you is the ultimate test of his willpower.
The very first time he tries to call you a traditional nickname like "Honey", his temperature will instantly spike, his face will turn as bright red as a Jueyun Chili and he’ll violently open a popsickle just to keep from fainting on the spot. But once he gets used to the feeling of your hand in his, he will look at you with pure devotion and call you "My cool breeze". He will gently lean his cool forehead against yours, sighing in relief because you are his peace.
Pet Names: "My dearest", "Beloved", or "My treasure"
Zhongli is old-school and carries the poise of a man who has lived through thousands of years of history. Because of this his affection is patient and deeply rooted. He thinks modern slang is entirely unsuited for the depth of his feelings so his terms of endearment are timeless.
When he calls you "My dearest", it carries the weight of a contract written in gold. He loves the domestic rhythm of your relationship, he’ll be fixing you a cup of tea or carefully arranging a hairpin in your hair, looking at you with so much warm adoration that it makes you melt. If he calls you "My treasure", he says it with a rumbling voice that vibrates right through your chest and when he holds you, he makes you feel like you are the most precious and irreplaceable thing in the history of Teyvat.
Pet Names: "Sweetheart", "My remedy", or "Darling"
Baizhu is a doctor who spends every single day dealing with illness, fragility, and the heavy reality of his own failing health. Because of this, his affection is incredibly gentle and protective.
He loves calling you "Sweetheart" or "Darling" in that smooth voice of his. He’ll say it while wrapping a warm scarf around your neck or fussing over whether you’ve eaten enough, treating you like you are something incredibly precious that he needs to keep safe from the world. But the most emotional nickname he has for you is "My remedy". Changsheng will probably tease him about it from his shoulders, but Baizhu will just chuckle softly, cup your cheek with his warm hands and look at you with an intensity that will catch you off guard.Â
Gaming is a total sweetheart, he’s energetic, incredibly hardworking and loud. He doesn't have a single poetic bone in his body, but he makes up for it with 100% pure enthusiasm. He is the type to casually drop "Babe" into the conversation while he’s walking you through the streets of Liyue Harbor, entirely unbothered by what anyone thinks. He will drape his arm over your shoulders, hand you a box of fresh dim sum and smile so brightly it puts the sun to shame.
If he’s getting ready for a major Wushang Dance performance and he’s feeling nervous, he’ll tightly grip both of your hands, look into your eyes and call you "My lucky star". He genuinely believes that if you are watching him from the crowd, his performance will be flawless. He is fiercely proud of having you as his partner, and he will literally yell your nickname across the wharf just to wave at you.

If you two are out in public, walking through the Knights of Favonius headquarters or hanging out at the tavern, he’s going to use "Princess/Prince" with this low, teasing chuckle. He’ll lean in just close enough for his breath to brush your ear, dropping the nickname purely to watch your cheeks flush red. But the exact second you guys are completely alone? He’ll pull you into his lap, rest his chin on your shoulder, and whisper "Love" or "My star" tracing your knuckles with his thumb, holding onto you like you’re the only real thing in his world.
Diluc is absolutely not the type to use cheesy, flashy nicknames (he thinks things like "babe" or "honey" are kind of ridiculous and awkward). Instead, his affection is incredibly quiet and physical. If he’s calling you something other than your name, it’s going to be "Dearest", and he will only say it in a private murmur when it's late at night at the Dawn Winery. It usually happens when he’s completely exhausted after a night of protecting Mondstadt from the shadows. You'll be sitting together by the fireplace, and he’ll gently take your hands to warm his up, looking at you with so much devotion before murmuring "Are you tired, dearest?" If he's feeling particularly sentimental he might refer to you as "My dawn".
Pet Names: "My muse", "Sweetheart", or "Little bird"
Venti is a literal bard, so you already know his terms of endearment are going to sound like they were pulled straight out of a romance poem. He absolutely loves calling you "My muse", and he’s entirely serious about it, he’ll dramatically rest his head on your lap while strumming his lyre, claiming that your smile is the only reason he can compose beautiful melodies anymore. He also uses "Sweetheart"...a lot, usually whined out in a playful, dragging tone when he’s trying to convince you to share your food or when he’s just clinging to your arm because he wants attention.
But his most comforting nickname for you is "Little bird". He drops it when you’re having a rough day or feeling trapped by your responsibilities, wraping his arms around you from behind, swaying gently with you, and whisper, "Don't worry so much, little bird... the wind will carry us wherever you want to go."
Razor doesn't understand human dating conventions, slang, or traditional romantic words, which actually makes his terms of endearment the most pure and tender things you'll ever hear. To him, the highest form of love and belonging is family, so calling you "My Lupical" is his ultimate way of declaring that you are his home. When he tries to use human words to describe how pretty he thinks you are, he’ll look straight into your eyes with those red eyes, tilt his head, and call you his "Pretty companion". He says it so casually and naturally while handing you a handful of fresh Wolvenberries he picked for you.
If he notices you’re feeling sad, he will gently press his forehead against yours and nuzzle your hair, murmuring how much his "pretty companion" means to him. He just wants you to feel safe and warm because your presence makes his chest feel full.
This poor boy flushes bright red from his neck to the tips of his ears every single time he tries to use a pet name. Bennett is so incredibly used to everything in his life going completely wrong that having you love him back feels like an impossible miracle. Because of that, "My lucky charm" is his absolute favorite thing to call you. He genuinely believes that whenever he’s holding your hand or hugging you, his bad luck takes a back seat and the world becomes a little kinder to him.
If he tries to say something more traditional and romantic like "Honey", he’ll probably stutter over the syllables, trip over a completely flat rock immediately after saying it, and then scramble to apologize while hiding his burning face in his hands. But if you smile, pulling his hands away from his face and telling him you like it? He’ll give you the biggest, brightest, most dazzling smile, tightly gripping your fingers and whispering how incredibly lucky he is to have you.
Albedo views the world through a very analytical, alchemical lens, so his affection isn't loud or dramatic, but it is precise and deeply intimate. He isn't going to shout nicknames across a crowded street, but when you are sitting quietly with him in his snowy workshop in Dragonspine, he’ll look up from his sketches, his eyes softening completely as they land on you and he'll ask, "Are you cold, my core?" To Albedo, the "core" is the most essential, perfect, and unchangeable part of any creation. By calling you that, he is admitting that you are the absolute center of his universe.
When he's feeling a bit more conventional, he’ll use a soft, breathed-out "Dearest". He’ll say it while gently brushing a strand of hair behind your ear, his fingers lingering on your cheek as he studies your face like you are the most beautiful masterpiece he has ever had the privilege to paint.
Mika is an absolute, stuttering nervous wreck when it comes to romance, which makes his pet names high-key adorable. The very first time a nickname slips out of his mouth, it’s probably a complete accident because he was daydreaming about you during a meeting. He’ll call you "Darling" in this squeaky voice and then his brain will completely short-circuit. He’ll frantically start checking his survey maps upside down, apologizing profusely and sweating bullets just to avoid looking you in the eye.
But once you two are alone and he gets comfortable holding your hand, the sweetness really comes out. He might secretly write "My compass" in the margins of his cartography notes next to little doodles of you. He will look at you with so much adoration and whisper that no matter how lost or far away he gets on an expedition, thinking of his "compass" is the only thing that always guides him safely back home.

Given his gorgeous gothic aesthetic and his serious job as a deacon for the Church of Favonius, Dahlia’s vibe is a mix of holy devotion and playful elegance. He absolutely loves teasing you to break up the monotony of his days, so calling you "Little bat" with a sly, knowing smirk while you two are hiding out at the tavern with Venti is a regular occurrence.
But when the night winds down and he is completely exhausted from carrying the heavy, stressful responsibilities of the church, his demeanor entirely flips. He’ll pull you into a quiet corner of the cathedral or a secluded spot outside, lean his forehead heavily against your shoulder, and call you "My sanctuary" or "My dove".The way he wraps his arms tightly around your waist and sighs into your neck shows that you are the only place in all of Mondstadt where he can finally let his guard down.
Durin is basically learning how to navigate human emotions and relationships completely from scratch. He is incredibly timid, sweet, and a little bit fragile because he carries a lot of deep-seated guilt and is terrified of accidentally scaring people away. Because of this, his pet names are the epitome of pure, innocent devotion. He will literally just call you "My favorite" because, in his mind, out of every single living being in Teyvat, you are the person he loves to watch flowers with the most.
When he calls you "Sunshine", he’ll say it with this huge, shy blush dusting his cheeks and his hands nervously tugging at his clothes. He’ll look at you with total awe because your kindness and your warm smiles literally washed away the cold, dark, agonizing memories of his past on the snowy mountain.
Pet Names: "Kiddo" (purely to tease you), "My treasure", or "Beautiful"
Varka is a massive presence who commands an entire army, but when it comes to you, he is just a giant, deeply affectionate teddy bear. At first, he’ll absolutely call you "Kiddo" or "Shorty" with a loud, hearty laugh just to rile you up, loving the way you pout or try to look taller next to his massive frame.
But when he’s being genuinely romantic, he doesn't hide his feelings from anyone. He will wrap one of his huge, scarred arms around your shoulders, throw his head back, and proudly brag to his entire expedition force about "My treasure". He wants the whole world to know how completely head-over-heels he is for you. However, the most endearing moments happen when it’s just the two of you, his voice drops to a surprisingly soft, deep, rough timber. He’ll gently cup your face with his hand making you realize just how safely protected you are and call you "Beautiful" with so much warmth and sincerity it will completely take your breath away.
Pet Names: "My hostage" (teasingly) or "My weakness"
Lohen is incredibly intense and utterly obsessed with gaining power so that absolutely nobody can ever control, trap, or hurt him again. Because he’s actually super stubborn and kind of immature when it comes to dealing with real, soft emotions, his pet names start out sounding a bit edgy and defensive. He’ll call you "My hostage" with a sharp, smug smirk, acting like you're just someone he keeps around for his own amusement. But the exact second you do something genuinely sweet for him (like fixing his collar or giving him a worried hug after a rough day) his brain completely short-circuits. He hates how much he cares about you because love feels terrifyingly out of his control.
When he’s exhausted, frustrated or defeated by his own feelings, he’ll bury his face in your neck, grip your waist tightly enough to leave a mark and growl out, "You're my weakness... I hate it."
