Tom was never the best dancer, especially with his ankle injury from soccer. The pressure from himself to live up to his parent’s glory and the pills he took earlier to pump himself up kept him going on stage practicing for the next competition for his college glee club. 

He saw a figure enter the back of the auditorium. “I’ll get out of your way.” He ceased dancing knowing he didn’t reserve the space.

Celestine didn’t usually find herself at the school, but she knew it was a place Tom frequented and she honestly was just praying that she found the boy in the auditorium. She tried to stay hidden as she watched him, finally moving forward towards him when he spotted her. “Just me Tommy, was hoping I’d find you here.”
