So I've been thinking, and my thinking is rather salty, but I've finally come to a decision that I think will make folks a little more at ease with Celebrian in terms of her Rings of Power verse. I've heard from a few Galadriels that she's not really ready to be a mother, so given Celebrian is not yet in the show, and likely will not be until season 4 if you think about how Galadriel first has to find Celeborn aaand then be able to have a child, and then elves mature at a hundred--- that means in all likelihood she will be a child on the show. I'm afraid to say that given her marriage to Elrond, that makes me seriously uncomfortable, especially given MY CELEBRIAN is about Elronds age and therefore a contemporary rather than much younger than him. I'm sorry but it's Twilight and Jacob all over again and I absolutely refuse. SO! Given even when she shows up I doubt she'll be anything like my Celebrian, my solution is simple.
In her Rings of Power verse she is NOT the daughter of Galadriel and Celeborn AT ALL. I'm leaning heavily into my current solution, and making her AMDIRS DAUGHTER COMPLETELY, as once Amroth was the son of Galadriel and Celeborn making it the only other close family member she can be connected to. Celeborn and Galadriel will have their Celebrian ( maybe ) in the show, but this iteration is not their daughter in THAT PARTICULAR VERSE. In other words in terms of TROP canon, my Celebrian is AU.
This does not effect any of my other verses, which shall proceed as normal with her being Galadriel and Celeborns daughter. If you play TROP characters though, I will default to Princess of Lórien, Daughter of Amdir. If you want original Celebrian please let me know.
