I was gonna say this last week, but I kind of feel like Lexi as a character improperly feeds into a fanbase who relates to her. Because it's not that Lexi doesn't get disrespected by her friends (she does and i understand her); it's that some people who watch her think she can do no wrong. It's the 'pat on the back' that "she's got it all together", but coupled with excuses when she can't even correctly convey 'big businesswoman rules' like she should be able to. Apparently, "Jules is old enough to know not to display nudity" (but Lexi should be "old enough" to direct clear, decisive rules to an inexperienced art student and take responsibility when delegating tasks, like a grown adult with the assigned duty she's been given to do). Lexi thinks "Christians are judgmental," but she wrote a play judging her close peers. She's often viewed as superior while the rest of "the girls are immoral for their choices," [but she was fine falling for a Christian drug dealer to kids (love Fez; this has nothing to do with him)]. "Jules is judgmental of virgins" [not what she said at all] (but it's fine if Lexi is judgmental of having sex and simplifies/stigmatizes transmissions of herpes). Little Miss "let me do a play for self-expression but I promise, it's out of good intention" gets defended vs Jules doing an artistic piece where she's called "selfish" for being too focussed on self-expression. Do you guys not understand that Lexi's just as screwed up as the rest of them and the biggest hypocrite? Lexi's just as damaged, you guys. And her actions aren't inexcusable just because she's been hurt, like every other Euphoria character. Lexi is just so judgmental, while faking that she's got it all together, it feeds into the ideology that she's "better" when she doesn't even deal with her own things. Everyone else gets turned into caricatures as Lexi gets to be the perfect, mature sweet baby angel in viewers' eyes.
