those is mcdonalds jeans?
Fun fact: those McDonald’s jeans are part of the standard uniform here in Colombia. I’ve tried at least 16x to ask where they source them, if I can buy them from the manager, even going McDonald’s not to order food but just to ask for the jeans. I asked someone high up in their marketing dept here to see if maybe they know which company sourced them, and still couldn’t get my hands on a pair. Apparently employees only get one pair per year. They’re slightly high-waisted, they taper very slightly, they’re always kind of high water at the bottom, and they’re the perfect light jean color. They’re not stiff, they’re not that stretchy, they’re the perfect denim material. They come with a cloth belt that’s either yellow or turquoise, and the stitching on the M is almost sensual. I will not give up

Ha, one pair per year... At my old job (at a casino, which absolutely has to rake in more money than several McDonald's franchises combined) we got two shirts and two pairs of pants as our uniform... but that's absolutely all. Any replacements or fixes that you can't do yourself you had to pay for out of pocket or out of your paycheck no matter how long you've worked there... A year, $30 for a new set, five years, $30 bucks for a new set, hell, I've talked to people who worked there for 25+ years and they still have to pay the $30 almost every year just because they fear getting a bad strike against their record . Even if you do fix it yourself you might get written up for "improper uniform violations" if the management can tell that it wasn't done by one of the casino's worker bees. It's absolute BS but its also on tribal land so the U.S. laws and regulations need not apply unless they want them to.
Hell, the place didn't even shut down during the Coronavirus until mid-May (suspiciously when one of the higher-ups caught a real bad case of it) and then re-opened at the end of September. Needless to say, I didn't go back despite their desperate pleas to their furloughed employees that "We need all available hands on deck because we have an obligation to our patrons to serve them in the same quality they remember"... I basically told my boss to f**k off and fill the position himself because I'm not going back to that death-trap unless I'm fully vaxxed first
