So I'm not overly familiar with comics and especially Dick and Jason's relationship, but I've noticed that fanon tends to use the term Little Wing when Dick refers to Jason. When and how did that become a thing?
The nickname Little Wing is actually kind of bittersweet. It’s from a retelling of Dick and Jason’s meeting...like in the original version, Dick is unaware that Bruce has adopted Jason and made him Robin. But unlike in the original version, where Dick finds out in the newspaper and decides to confront Bruce himself, Bruce and Barbara work together to trick Dick, and surprise him with the new Robin when he’s on what he thinks is a regular stakeout.

It makes for a rather harsh introduction. Jason thinks that beating Dick is part of the test, to prove that he is Robin. Dick tries to talk things out, but Jason is determined to prove his worth. He hits Dick a couple times, spouting abrasive comments all the while...and I was impressed with Dick’s restraint lmao, though it did start to get under his skin.
On Dick’s side of things, he feels betrayed, by Bruce and Barbara alike. He hides his hurt, bitter feelings behind cheeky comments and smiles, which I’m sure rub Jason the wrong way when he’s taking becoming Robin very seriously.
Yikes. Then, things take a turn--Alfred is kidnapped by Killer Croc, Bruce is out of commission, and Dick and Jason are forced to team up to save the day. They go train surfing, and begin to actually talk and get to know each other.

They are both starting to warm up to each other a bit. Jason isn’t as prickly and combative, now that he realizes Dick is not out to take back his spot. And Dick is angry at Bruce, not Jason...he even starts giving Jason some vigilante tips. But he’s not entirely at peace with Jason being Robin yet. So what does he call him?
Little Wing...as in, Mini Nightwing. Jason is Dick’s side kick for this little adventure ;)
Still, as things continue, Dick and Jason grow more comfortable with one another. I think Dick gets a bit fond of Jason, and Jason seems to be impressed with Dick despite himself.
A lot of their interactions began to give me big brother-little brother vibes. In the end, Dick realizes that Jason’s got what it takes, and accepts him as Robin.
He calls him by name. Robin. So, I feel that “Little Wing” was once an expression of Dick’s discomfort at being replaced, and as he got to know Jason, it evolved into a genuinely fond thing.
what/who is your favourite thing to draw? I know us artists usually have that one thing that brings us joy and sometimes it makes sense and sometimes it doesn’t. I LOVE flowy clothes.
Mhhh, I think a specific thing would be smiles. I smile while drawing them, and they make me happy. I also really like shading the cheeks and nose, it feels like I’m putting makeup on them, and it’s very, very satisfying to blend.

i think queerplatonic relationship kinda got the same treatment as nonbinary where people assume its a special third relationship status directly between the romance and friendship binary. which it CAN be but its also an umbrella for "literally anything that isnt quite friends and isnt quite romance" you can be official queerplatonic partners or you can just be something unspoken and undefinable. you can be fuckin homestuck moirails for all i care. its all queerplatonic babey. thats the point.
