Music Marbled Silk

The generative patterns on this set of ten handkerchiefs were created by placing a marbling tray on top of an amplifier, The amp would play one song the whole way through allowing the vibrations of a song to form the final visual.The silk was then laid down on the ink allowing it to soak up a visual and physical impression of sound.

These handkerchiefs were sold as limited edition artworks at the Worth Pop-Up Shop in shoreditch.
