I know everyone and their mothers are going to be posting about Jax's eyes the split second he woke up during his near-abstraction, but I'm way more interested in what this revealed: How it feels when somebody abstracts.

He's Happy. He's genuinely tranquil. All those people who abstracted, in their last moments of despair and anguish, slip into a deep, serene sleep that they never wake up from. There's something morbidly beautiful about that.

We also saw it with Queenie when she abstracted, she wasnt like Kaufmo. She was calm in her last moments with Kinger before she got sent to the cellar.

So, Episode 7

This is my takeaway: Abel was Caine's projection.

Caine used Abel to voice all of his concerns and insecurities. Abel brought up Caine being just as trapped as all the humans. He used Abel to see if anyone would care if he got left behind.

Abel had Jax spend time with Caine and ask him about his hobbies because no human has ever done that for Caine. He was desperate for someone to talk to. He's lonely.

Abel talked about watching the humans from afar, wanting to join them. Caine's been doing that for years.

Everything Abel said was a reflection of how Caine felt and what he wanted. He feels like a prisoner in his own world. He wants to join the humans and be happy with them. He just wants someone to care about him.

Was what Caine did with the Escape the Circus adventure fucked up? Absolutely. But it all came from a lonely AI with a fear of being left behind. Who just wants to belong.

Also anyone have any theories on what could’ve happened to Jax in the real world? Those small clips of the road scared me im kind of wondering if he was in a car accident before going into the digital circus? And thats why he doesn’t want to go back, because he doesnt want to go back to desl with what happened to his body. OMG IM STILL SO UGHHH I HAVE TO WSTCH THE EPISODE AGAIN IT WAS SO MUCH
