Updated designs and outfits for the whole series

I decided to add the chains to Reese’s pants during his time in the estate with Saffarooni for two reasons:

1. His outfits have been severely lacking. Both in fabric and in just how interesting they are. It makes some sense, of course, but I like fashion and outfits (big shocker, I know) and I want to draw him in more emo outfits. I feel like the main thing keeping his fits plain in the game was the fact that he spent most of his days alone in his room. Kaneeka would probably entice him into wearing more fun, interesting outfits.

2. It works as a rather obvious visual signifier that he’s still ‘chained’, tied down, etc even though he isn’t physically restrained. I like incorporating minor visual gags like that. (Saffs first outfit in S2 has tiny little barely visible flames at the bottom because, ‘liar liar pants on fire’)

Still unsure about his epilogue look, I might update both his and Kaneeka’s once we get that far. Feel free to give some suggestions, if you also enjoy fashion, especially of the alt variety.

I kinda want to design some more outfits for Avery now that they’re going to show up in 19 and 20… I’m not as familiar with their style though… Ooogh Aves… (doc wears the same outfit throughout all of the game we’ll just keep her in her canon fit it’s fine) if there’s anyone who’s designed Avery outfits outside of the main game willing to let me peek at or steal the designs let me know lol

I’ve been saying I’d like to do some animating of Ch4’s ending, and it’s been sticking in my head. Not sure how much longer this desire to animate will stay in my head, so I’m torn between finishing the comic at my typical rate or slowing down production a little bit so I can do some animation on the side. If you didn’t know, most episodes take around 5 hours to complete. Animation takes much, much longer. Obviously.

If I delay I may lose interest in animating, but if I work on animating now I could burn out of passion for the animation project and end up cancelling it, having delayed the comic for no reason. Alas, I am stuck in my own SH type dilemma. Curses!

The tribes of Tumblr appeared to worship Apollo as their primary patron deity, most often under the epithet Apollo Sphairahemon ("Apollo the Ball-Thrower") as a god of prophecy and sport. His name was typically invoked to celebrate a user blessed with uncommon prescience. Moments of prophecy were considered highly sacred and were often recorded, and such texts are sometimes accompanied by an artistic depiction of the god — either his traditional masculine image or, unusually, in the form of a young woman, which appears to have been an earlier style before a conservative shift toward more conventional iconography — preparing to cast a round rubber ball that our scholars believe was used in the sport known as "dodge ball". Much as other cults regarded his arrows as bringers of disease and health, this community believed that being struck by this ball would bestow prophetic visions.

Some icons are reproduced below:

An earlier depiction (c. 2020) of Apollo as a girl clad in a simple tunic and playing with other children. Figures are smiling and the image is brightly colored, indicating a celebratory outlook toward knowledge of the future.

A later piece (c. 2022) that resembles the traditional appearance of Apollo. References to childhood and play are omitted, and the god carries a more frightening aspect; perhaps this icon represented grim omens rather than good tidings.

Saved by the actual killer; let's not forget that Luigi Mangione was almost certainly framed and is most likely not The Claims Adjuster. (I love that name. Robin Hoodie was good too, but The Claims Adjuster is perfect.)

I mean. Days after the killing, he is still carrying around the weapon and a handwritten manifesto in his backpack? A 3d printed weapon, which he could have melted down and destroyed, or thrown into the Hudson River, because the thing about 3d printed guns is that unlike standard manufactured guns, it's really hard to identify who printed them? When his bag was searched out of anyone's sight, hours after his arrest? By a notoriously corrupt police district under pressure to make an arrest?

We need to stop accepting reflexively the narrative the NYPD and the media have tried to sell us; it's got way too many holes in it and it runs the risk that an innocent man will spend his life in jail or be executed for a crime he didn't commit. The fact that we would all support him if he did commit it is irrelevant; the state will grind him through the gears of injustice if it can.
