Sammy-in-a-box is based on a drawing I did back in 1997. As I mentioned yesterday, I never got to find out what kind of personality Sammy-in-a-box had back in the day, so this last month I drew a series to find out. This series was mainly inspired by my friend Elizabeth’s love of the character over the years – so if you enjoy Sammy-in-a-box’s adventure this month you can thank Elizabeth...

Also – why is he in a box? I’m not really sure… but he wouldn’t be Sammy-in-a-box without the box. It’s a super-powered box that levitates and flies across the landscape at marvelous speeds.
