âBored already. Youâre just like the way I prefer my crooks. Dumb and slowâŚâ
âWell, there goes my hope on you getting us out of here. No offenseâitâs just, if they can limit us both? Weâre gonna be here a while.âÂ
âYou think these guys are working with forces beyond us? Iâm not having a vacation here, thatâs for sure! Itâs like talking backwards is just a neat party trick nowâŚâ
âNo offence taken, I can understand how it would be expected from me to get everyone back to our cities! I canât help but worry about it now, I left Central City in bad hands, Iâm sure...â
âThatâs exactly what I think! Itâs always like that, isnât it? I mean, theyâve proving to be really dangerous.. and people here seem so carefree, do you think that we could be dealing with mind control? Speaking of party tricks, have you seen Constantine yet?â
âĄâ âEh⌠A few months now innit. Not too long. Still though, mate, if you touch my beer Iâm coming for your throat.âÂ
âReally? I was here for a little while some time ago, I thought that I managed to run away, and here I am again... I just managed to see Iris again and I woke up here. Iâm not going after that beer, itâs most carbs that Iâm after.â

âĄâ âOi hot rod, you best not be scoffinâ down all that in the fridge I know you just moved in but thatâs shared food here.âÂ
âCome on now, Constantine, you know that speedsters need more food that the average human, and so does Captain America. Besides, I hear that our sponsor has enough money for that-wait, how long have you been staying here?â

âThat⌠would be indeed helpful. I am lost, as I am looking for a place to gather some herbs. If any are in this⌠city.â
So much bigger than Kirkwall.
Barryâs costume disappeared into his ring; he didnât have to be masked up to meet someone new, he bet that this wasnât the best way to make a good impression.
âSome herbs? Like, in a  garden?â, he asked, trying to remember the map of the city. âIâm pretty sure that one of the districts has a huge park.. we might be able to find something in there?â

Two guysâboth clad in ridiculous outfitsâwalked down the busy street. No, they didnât know each other, but to those passing by it probably looked like they were friends. You know, considering how similar their costumes were.
It wouldnât have made much of an impression on Tommy, if only they hadnât been walking at the same pace for so long.
The light-haired man took in the red suit beside him. Curiously enough, the material looked similar to his own specially made suit, though it was hard to say why. Honestly, it was just like Tommy to ignore the lightning bolt stitched into the guyâs front. It wasnât the most interesting costume heâd seen before, okay?
Instead, both of his eyes moved back to his own abdomen and he compared the noticeable differences. It was only then that the speedster heard a voice muttering something about Christmas under a breath. Holy shit, they did look like a freaking Christmas advertisement!Â
Whipping his head back to the stranger, Tommy looked at him with a slack jawed expression. âYouâre making both of us look like a weird holiday card, you know.â
Barry had his eyes fixed on the stranger who was walking next to him. Well, walking wasnât exactly the way to put it, they might have felt that they were walking, but to the people around them, it certainly looked like they were jogging or power walking. His experienced eyes could tell a speedster from another human so easily, and the white haired kid sure was one.
His eyes narrowed; there was one speedster that he knew off with a green suit, light hair and goggles. Inertia, and he sure didnât mean well if he ended up in the Hive. As far as he knew, Bart wasnât around, which meant that he had to deal with his nephewâs enemy and descendant of his own arch enemy alone.
However, the longer he stared at the boy, the less he looked like Thawne. When he talked, he didnât seem to recognise him either, which was either him being a good actor or genuinely dealing with a new speedster that he never met before. It couldnât have been impossible, meetings from alternate dimensions and timelines was a common occurrence to his life.
âWell, one of us will have to change, kid. And Iâve been wearing this costume for so long to change it now.â

It was ridiculous for the scientists behind this little experiment to think they could keep his cold gun away from him for long. While it was true they had exchanged the masterpiece he had on him when he arrived, there was one thing they could never take from him: his intimate knowledge of every single mechanism, screw, and wire of that gun. And so, it was after a week of gathering components from various sources âincluding the cheap imitation he was given in exchangeâ he had finally replicated what had been stolen from him.
And there was no better time for him to have finished this projectâ he had recently learned that Barry Allen was somewhere in this city. Maybe they could go ice skating together. Do a little catching up.
He really did like chatting with that kid.
Now as far as the matter of arranging a meeting went, Snart figured he would go with a bank robbery. He was just an old fashioned guy at heart. This wouldnât be any normal bank job for him, however, this time he didnât stop any alarms from being raised.Â
And so Leonard Snart strode confidently into a branch of the Hive City National Credit Union, reflexively firing a blast of his cold gun at both security guards. The two men quite literally froze in their tracks. âSomebody better call the police.â Cold said mockingly as he walked up to the bank tellers. Predictably, thatâs exactly what they did as alarms bells went off loudly before he took more than a few steps. Perfect.
âThanks.â He smirked before turning his gun on the entire crowd of people around him, firing a steady stream as he went. Now all that remained were the tellers who were scared out of their wits, but before Snart could so much as twitch a muscle, a red blur zoomed into the bank and came to a stop in front of him.
âWell, if it isnât the Scarlet Speedster. Or should I sayâŚBarry.â
That had to be Barryâs second time that he ended up in that city, he was trying to yet again adjust, relieved to see that the Avengers were still there, as well as Diana, Zatanna and more members of their own League. It was rather quiet, but part of him was eager to face a threat, anything to give him an excuse to run again, test his limits. The fact that he was slowed again only enervated him, and he was continuously trying to tap into the speed force like he always did with no effect.Â
News traveled fast in that city, but not faster than he could get to the crime scene. An old fashioned bank robbery, thatâs what he was hoping for. As she speeded towards the central bank, the frozen security guards at the entrance genuinely took him by surprise. There were a few villains that had ice powers and that he knew of, but what mattered was how did they manage to get here in the first place.
Running inside the main room, he only had to take one look at the culprit to know who he was; dark blue parka and glasses, his prominent cold gun in hand, or rather, a make shift one that seemed to be working just as well. The next question that came to mind was, if he really was as alone as he seemed. The Rogues almost never operated alone, and he had to be ready to face Heat Wave, Glider, Piper, Trickshot, anyone.Â
He stopped in front of the tellers, ready to disarm Snart if he had to. Which he would probably end up doing, but not before getting some answers to his questions. After all, Snart wanted a chat and he was about to offer him one anyway. He might have called him by his real name, but the good thing was, it didnât matter to anyone in the Hive, not that he knew of. Next thing he knew, Iris could pop out of nowhere.
âCaptain Coldâ, he greeted him. âOr should I say, Leonard Snart. Has a different ring to it, doesnât it?â

âOomf! Sorry, I didnât mean to run into you, I normally know my way around here but I forgot that this place shifts sometimes.. You see, thatâs my second time in this city already...â

âExcuse me sir, you seem lost. I may not be a veteran around here, but I can give you directions if you are looking for anything in particular.â

âIâm sorry, I donât want to be rude or anything but...is that thing edible? â
âI dread the implications behind your words, though I suppose we could leave that issue for later. Itâs good to see you too, Flash. Iâve needed a bit of good news since I arrived here. Please tell me weâre not the only ones.â
âYeah, letâs rather have a discussion about how an alternate version of yourself was one of the scariest things Iâve seen in my life...Anyway, yes! I just briefly saw Zatanna, but from what I gathered, a few of Batmanâs kids are here...my personal favourite, Captain Cold... and some of the Avengers, remember them?â
âCanât be that hard to catch upâconsidering who it is Iâm talking to! Iâm sorta surprised though, they managed to snatch The Flash? Still, I get what you mean. Too bad my magicâs near busted in this place.â
âThatâs a good one, Iâll give you that, despite the situation that weâre both stuck in! Youâre just as surprised as I am, at first I thought that something was off with the Speedforce but no, this seems to be a cross dimensional effect, itâs not only applying to us. What?! How did they manage to do that?! I can think of ways of slowing my speed but your magic too..?â
youâre worth taking a beating forâŚ

âZatanna, I feel like we havenât have any time to catch up in ages! What are you doing here? I know it might sound stupid to you and really basic, but canât you, you know, magic us out of this city?â
