very old drawing.. but the most fitting I’ll ever make
thinking of dragon healing magic and what gods/elements are associated with healing:
the obvious one is nature right, because growth --> regeneration of cells/speeding up the healing process
but also plague, because plague is all about survival. though plague is more self survival, i don't see them as the helping others type. so plague would be pretty good for self healing, but especially with fatal wounds, as ensuring oneself's survival is key
plague and nature were always fighting, and to continue fighting one must be able to heal themselves and recover from injuries (regenerating lost territory through decay/regrowth), so quick healing on the battlefield? definitely the sisters, healing oneself or healing mass amounts of people (like an army) especially
though combined, i bet plague and nature would make for some amazing healing magic (but of course being warring/conflicting elements by their natures, it'd probably take a very skilled and powerful mage to combine the elements in their magic)
Hey, you. Do you want this dragon? Of course you do, she’s gorgeous. Well, you can have her - but first, you gotta tell me about her.

HERE WE GO
go big or go home she's going to be so gay and have two lovers, the knight twins honour and valour
from young, she's been more serious and strict than her younger siblings, older brother, and adoptive siblings. it's partially because she's often been tasked with taking care of her younger siblings when her parents are busy, but mostly her personality. she's inclined to follow the rules, yet she is not inclined to follow. she works best alone, though socialization is not beyond her.
in her early childhood, she discovered she did not have the magical disposition of her parents, and instead choose to devote her efforts into weapons training. what little magic she can do, she uses to enhance the cutting ability of her weapons, making for an lethal attack force.
yet despite a loving family and wonderful clan, she was curious of the world beyond and felt a need to search for a worthy cause to follow, a reason to fight, so in her late teens, she left her family and her clan to travel the world, working as a mercenary.
along the way, she meets a travelling caravan, trading all across sornieth and decided to join them, visiting new places with them and in return, acting as their bodyguard. among this caravan, she meets a pair of twins, honour and valour, who though as dynamic as her siblings, also desires a noble cause same as her.
soon, she comes to know everyone in this group, and open up to them, feeling at home with them as if they were her family. for many years, she travels the world, growing from a confused young girl into a young woman, honing her skills with the constant threat of bandit attacks. it's when she thinks her life couldn't be any better, she loses her family.
with the rising tensions between beastclans and dragonkind, the harpies in alliance with the longnecks had just claimed new territory after a nasty battle with a now deceased clan. but the caravan, traveling along one of their old routes, did not know this. and as they crossed into new beastclan territory, they were ambushed.
only the twins and her survived, and they were forced to flee. bitter and vengeful, they sought out a master to train with, lying through their teeth about the reason for their desired power. and after years of training and fuelling their plans for vengeance within, they left their master without a word when they had learned all they could. the only harpy and longneck clans had conquered more territory, but they had grown stagnant in their victories. they murdered them all.
and after, standing among the blood of the beastclansmen and carnage of bodies, they expected peace, but only found emptiness. destroying the beastclansmen did not bring the caravan back. they had spent so much of their lives on vengence, time they would not get back, and it had brought nothing by piles of bodies and blood soaked earth.
they returned a week later to apologize on their knees to their master. and they began their journey anew, travelling sornieth as mercenaries seeking for a cause.
it's then, they meet a young princess of one of the last empires on sornieth. she had gotten lost from her guards and maids, and was crying in middle of nowhere. they helped her back to her guards, and at her request, decided to visit the lan empire as they were running out of supplies anyway. there, they spent most of their time with the little princess, and with growing discomfort, realised the corruption of the court in which she was surrounded by. they realised the court did not care for any but her brothers, the princes, and she was left alone and lonely most of the time, which is why she attached to them so quickly. they realised the danger her life would be in when she grew up, grew old enough to be caught in the battleground of the court, with no one on her side. and they realised, once again, they had found a cause to fight for.
the day they originally intended to leave, they applied for the knighthood entrance exam.
three years later, they are assigned as princess lang's knights.
It’s been a long day of traveling through the eerily silent cadaver of the Hewn City, so you nearly jump out of your skin when a voice speaks up behind you.
"Hi!"

U MISSED THE FIRST HALF OF MY ICE MAGIC RANT
leaves this here before i can severely regret my decisions, some doodles of the twins nikolai and nikitas
twin generals of the icewarden's exalted forces, the "red twins" are arguably the icewarden's most trusted generals, but definitely the most ruthless. though appearing in their 20's, the twins have been alive as long as the ice in the southern icefield has remained unmelted. at the beginning of the third age, when imperials were new and still retained their dignity, the twins were there when the first emperors appeared. terrified of death and of what they may become, they begged the icewarden to freeze their age, providing them with immortality. and in exchange, they pledged their eternal loyalty.

foxrising this was so much harder than i expected...oh my god.....
1. Alignment -- What would be their D&D alignment? How might it come into play?
Quan -- Chaotic Good. Quan has good intentions, but he's willing to dirty his hands to accomplish them. This makes him seem evil, and when he doesn't realize his wrongs, he plays into the part of the antagonist very well.
Yun -- True Neutral. Yun is very uncaring of the matters around him, and what better way to stay neutral than to simply not care about the matters at all. He veers on Chaotic Neutral because though he doesn't admit it, his experiences has left some bitterness on his tongue.
Tian -- Lawful Evil. The opposite of Quan. He abides by the rules and plays the game, he doesn't break rules to get what he wants, because he's intelligent enough to have no need to do so. He will seem good, but when in a position of power or authority, his nature comes into play.
Teca -- Chaotic Good. Teca is a sweetheart, but his upbringing skewered his morals. He has good intentions, but sometimes the actions he takes does not reflect positively.
2. Beverage -- What do they most like to drink, and why?
Quan -- Huge sweet tooth. Loves sugary and milky sweet drinks, not big on fruity drinks. Loves sweet coffees or hot chocolate, anything chocolatey really.
Yun -- Loves tea, all kinds of tea. But really prefers the mild ones, only sometimes drinks highly spices tea.
Tian -- Bitter drinks for Tian. Bitter coffee usually. Not that fond of bitterness, but has taken a liking to black coffee.
Teca -- Fruity drinks, usually cold.
3. Cohabitate -- Do they live with anyone? What’s “need to know” before moving in?
Quan -- Lives with his fiancé, Coy. Quan is meticulously neat and tidy, everything has to be in the right place, put away, lined up perfectly. Even the smallest object out of place will irk him. He will tidy up Coy's things without asking if he sees anything not up to his standards.
Yun -- Lives with his boyfriend, Evgeniy. Yun is fairly neat, but not perfectly. If something's in the right place, or around the right place, he's fine with it. He definitely will clean up anything Evgeniy leaves too messy for his tastes without thinking.
Tian -- Lives with his boyfriend, Auguste. Tian can be either extremely neat or extremely messy, never in between. Usually, he leaves his things everywhere, and doesn't bother with cleaning. However, around once a week, he goes on a cleaning spree and leaves everything spotless and meticulous. Rinse and repeat.
Teca -- Lives with his boyfriend, Yan. Fairly messy, but only in the sense that he puts all his things aside casually. They're all in the right place, just not perfectly aligned. But he knows not to be too messy, when working with alchemic magic, accidents from misplaced materials can result in catastrophic results.
4. Decor -- What kind of home do they keep? Are there any defining details?
Quan -- Extremely neat, aggressively Chinese. Decor, furniture, colours, all very Chinese themed/inspired. Or whatever the FR equivalent of Chinese is.
Yun -- Mild and modern, his aesthetic is very simple. Clean cut, beauty in simplicity. White or light grey furnishing highlighted by the occasional dark furniture, only one or two colours at the most. A lot of green plants, Yun loves plants.
Tian -- Homely and cozy, very warm and woody colours, a lot of furniture and appliances taking up space to make the area seem smaller, tighter. Extremely comfortable and comforting.
Teca -- Wide spaces and light colours, very airy decor. He likes space. Modern and simple furniture, usually in whites or pale rose.
5. Escape -- What do they do to destress? How successful is it?
Quan -- Very bad at handling stress, he just holds it in until he snaps. When he does, though, he locks himself in his room. Which is also very bad for him. Sometimes he practices with his sword, which helps a bit. And rarer, he holds on to Coy, and just falls asleep to the sound of his breathing. Very effective, but he doesn't do it often.
Yun -- Practicing with his sword always helps, sparring with someone too. Tending to his garden. Listening to Ev talk, just being with Ev will, without a doubt, always help.
If he doesn't have any of that, however, or if there's simple too much stress for him to take, there are times he will revert to more harmful habits.
Tian -- Also horrible with stress. Holds it in until he snaps. Also locks himself away, usually when he's extremely stressed all his negative thoughts and uncertainties come flooding in, and it becomes dangerous for him. Auguste usually finds him before anything bad happens, and Auguste's arms around him calms him down, soothes him.
Teca -- Teca, sweetheart, is very good at handling stress and taking care of himself. He takes a break from whatever's stressing him, and usually goes to Yan, whose mere presence can make him feel better.
6. Fluff -- What hits their soft spot? Does anything them into emotional goo?
Quan -- Only Coy, really, gets him emotional. Seeing Coy relaxed, without his masks, happy, really makes Quan fall hard.
Yun -- Ev always makkes him feel warm, because Ev is so carefree and cheerful all the time, and it's so obvious just how in love with Yun he is with everything he does.
Tian -- Auguste. Just. Everything about Auguste. And the Xue twins.
Teca -- People who smile, people who are happy, Yan always makes Teca feel warm and happy.
7. Grudge -- How bad does an insult go over? Do they hold a grudge long?
Quan -- Insults do not go over well. If he can, and he usually can, he will make them pay tenfold. Grudges disappear when revenge is achieved, unless that insult was to something (someone) he cares about.
Yun -- Handles insults well, they slide over him like water. Unless that insult is to someone he loves, in which case he will get payback. Doesn't hold grudges.
Tian -- This boy has got a Temper my lord. His instinct is to bite back at any insult, however, he has learned to control his reactions. He is insulted on a daily basis, and has learned not to react. He holds long grudges, and nothing can change them but himself, even if he gets revenge, sometimes his grudges don't disappear.
Teca -- Teca laughs insults off, they don't affect him much. However if he does develop a grudge, it doesn't fade easily. However, no one has ever wronged him enough for him to develop a grudge against them.
8. Hobby -- What’s something they do for fun that might be surprising?
Quan -- Quan took up studying musical theory, recently, and finds it enjoyable.
Yun -- Gardening. Yun loves plants and caring for them, it calms him down and relaxes him.
Tian -- Tian likes watching people spar. He's never had the possibility of learning how to fight, due to his physique and health, but he wants to. He knows as much about combat as the combatants themselves, all from watching.
Teca -- Dancing. Teca loves how beautiful dancers look when they dance, and on impulse, took it up himself.
9. Insomnia -- What’s their sleeping schedule like? Snorer? Sound sleeper?
Quan -- Very light sleeper. Usually stays up late working, and has to get up early every morning. He's usually sleep deprived.
Yun -- Yun has insomnia. Usually, he spends his night tending to the nocturnal half of his garden, or practicing his sword fighting. After he meets Ev, he sleeps a lot more. He curls up in Ev's arms in the bed, and since he isn't moving around at night anymore, sleep comes a bit more easily. And even if it doesn't, he's content watching Ev's sleeping face, listening to the sound of his breathing, relaxing in the warmth of his arms all night.
Tian -- Tian is a very sound sleeper, and has trouble waking up, which has lead him to a multitude of life threatening situations. When he's on edge, his sleep becomes lighter by sheer force of will. However when in a safe and comfortable situation, he can sleep past noon and not wake even if you pour water on him. His schedule is erratic, which has lead him to be able to function well even on three days of no sleep.
Teca -- A sound sleeper and a late sleeper, Teca goes to sleep early and sleeps in late.
10. Jaded -- Do they buy into the “happily ever after” ideal? What’s their standard?
Quan -- Quan is an idealist, he believes in happy endings, and believes a staggering amount of work has to be put in to accomplish them. He's willing to work himself to the bone for his ideals.
Yun -- "Happily Ever After" is unrealistic, Yun knows nothing works out perfectly. He's content to just enjoy every happy moment he has, and doesn't care about the future.
Tian -- Tian laughs at the idea. He views the world in a negative light, there's no such thing as happiness. He views everyone as inherently evil until proven otherwise.
Teca -- Doesn't believe in "Happily Ever After." He doesn't believe in the perfect ending, but he believes in happy lives. His view of the world is very in the moment, he doesn't think of the future much, just right now, what is.
11. Kin -- What’s their role among their relations? Do they consider others family?
Quan -- The eldest of four brothers. Very detached from Yun, views him as just a tool, and hates Tian. One of his brothers, Hai, died when he was eleven, and it was Tian who killed him, though there was never enough proof to accuse him openly. Quan used to love Tian, and it only made the pain worse. There's a thin line between love and hate, he crossed it and never looked back. He swore Tian would one day die by his hands.
Yun -- Of the three surviving brothers, Yun is the only one with a semblance of brotherly emotion. It is only an acknowledgement of the fact that the three of them have some sort of tie, however, and nothing more. He does not care for his brothers, family, or much at all.
Tian -- The youngest of four brothers. He hates his brothers, Quan will fall by his hands. His twin brother, the only brother he loved, Hai, was killed when he was seven, and the murder was placed on him by his father. Quan and Yun turned on him as well, believing their father, and from that moment on they were no longer brothers. Tian turned the betrayal and pain he felt into hatred. He feels nothing but hate for his family.
Teca -- Teca does not know his biological family, not anymore. The only person who could be considered anything close to a parental figure to him is Maque, and even then she only used him for her own purposes. Teca does not know family.
12. Law -- What do they think about abiding rules? Are they selective about it?
Quan -- On the surface, Quan abides strictly to the rules to keep up appearances. In reality, he has no qualms about breaking them to reach his goals.
Yun -- Does not care for the rules either way, but follows them out of ease. Would not blink if he needs to break them.
Tian -- Follows the rules strictly. He would rather win by playing the game well, than by cheating.
Teca -- For Teca, it's not as black and white as following the rules or not. It's more abstract. It depends on the rules, he follows his emotions. If the one setting the rules is someone he cares for, he will follow them. If not, then he simply does what feels right, whether that's following the rules or not.
13. Magic -- In a magic series or not, are they accepting, or is each instance a shock?
Quan -- If in a setting where magic is real, Quan would try to make it into a tool to accomplish his goals.
Yun -- Yun would be pretty casual about it.
Tian -- Tian wouldn't care much either.
Teca -- Teca is...a necromancer......
14. Network -- Are they connected to the people? How much do they reach out to others?
Quan -- Quan does not trust many people. He is the crown prince, it is a dangerous position, and trusting the wrong person could cost his life. However his charisma is the reason he's still alive, and he full well acts kind and connected with all. In truth, it is very unlikely he would ever fully trust anyone, but there is someone close to that.
Yun -- Yun is very detached from his surroundings, and his connections are purely professional. His emotions don't usually run deep, which makes it difficult for his to establish meaningful connections with others. Not that he tries, anyway.
Tian -- Tian does not get close to people, he's untrusting and wary of everyone. He knows how dangerous it is to make connections, and is very careful with who he becomes acquaintances with. However, if someone is able to get past his defenses, he's put in a vulnerable position because he would trust them too easily, too fast. It's all or nothing for him, either he doesn't trust someone at all, or he trusts them completely. He's not connected to many people, because he's far too wary of them, there is only one person he completely trusts, and even that trust is one spiked with paranoia.
On the outside, though, he knows how to act as if he is connected with others.
Teca -- Teca trusts easily, and tries to get along with everyone. His natural reaction to strangers is to believe they're good, until proven otherwise. He is very open about his emotions, and chooses who to trust, who to become friends with on instinct. He has a lot of friends and acquaintances, but only a few he fully trusts.
15. Offspring -- What kind of parent would they be? Would they prefer one, or multiple?
Quan -- He would be a strict and intimidating parent, pretty absent. He believes everyone, including his child, should grow by themselves and find their own goals and ambitions, and would stay away from his child as much as possible. Also, as per his upbringing, he never knew a proper father figure, and doesn't not know how to be one.
Yun -- A decent father, he would care for his child immensely, however would not be good at expressing it. He would be efficient and care for all of his child's needs, but would have trouble expression his feelings. Like Quan, his upbringing did not have healthy parental figures.
Tian -- Tian would make a Horrible parent. He's a bit immature, and extremely selfish. The only people he would get along with are those who pamper and please him. He does not know much about giving care to others, and he tries for Auguste, but he would not try for anyone else.
Teca -- Teca would absolutely spoil his child, he would adore them. He would make the most doting parent, would love them so dearly.
16. Pistol -- Is this character skilled with a weapon? What’s their opinion of violence?
Quan -- Skilled with the sword. Tries not to use violence if possible, but it's his first solution to many problems. Has no qualms about being violent.
Yun -- Yun is extremely skilled with a sword, has not much of an opinion about violence, considers it very casually. Whether he needs to be violence or not, he doesn't mind either way.
Tian -- Not skilled with any weapons, words are his weapons. Has no opinion for violence, considers it casually. It's a common thing, for him. He's used to violence.
Teca -- Magic is his weapon, he's a necromancer. He's desensitized to violence because he's seen so much of it, both in and out of his work. He does not use violence unless he has to, but doesn't have many objections against violence. It's just like a daily thing for him, he doesn't have a strong opinion about violence.
17. Question -- How often do they feel doubt? What topics are they defensive about?
Quan -- Quan has doubts, but he pushes him down. He has a goal in mind, and he will put everything aside and ignore all else until he achieves it. He has no time for doubt.
Yun -- Yun is constantly drowning in solemn negativity, because there's not much else for him to do. He's almost gotten used to it. It's not as strong as hate or loathing, more like a constant base emotion.
Tian -- Very often. Tian holds a lot of self loathing and guilt and hatred, it's very unhealthy for his mind. He's not defensive about much, because he has learned to either ignore or attack, he never takes the defense. His negativity is constantly in the back of his mind, but he has learned to ignore it most of the time.
Teca -- Teca doesn't doubt often, but when he does, he tries to put it aside and ignore it. He thinks of doubt as a useless emotion.
18. Reminder -- How are they at remembering daily needs? What falls through the cracks?
Quan -- With his constant lack of sleep, Quan knows he needs to remember to eat and drink or his energy will deteriorate. He usually counts on Yun to remember this for him.
Yun -- Yun keeps a routine schedule, he treats his body like a machine. He needs this, this, and this to survive, and takes exactly that, nothing more, nothing less.
Tian -- Tian is Horrible about remembering to eat or drink. After he meets Auguste he gets better at it mostly because he tells Auguste remind him and of course, Auguste always does, exactly on time.
Teca --
19. Sing -- Do they like music? Do they listen often/sing/hum/play songs in their head?
Quan -- Has no interest in music, however develops one after he meets coy. Specifically, develops a liking for Coy's music.
Yun -- Doesn't really care for music, but does find it enjoyable if he hears it.
Tian -- Just doesn't care about music.
Teca -- Loves music, hums it all the time when he's working idly.
20. Touch -- How do they handle contact? Is their personal bubble big?
Quan -- Doesn't like being touched, or getting too close to people, but acts as if he doesn't mind to keep up appearances. Very fond of getting into others' personal space, however.
Yun -- Yun is very unconcerned about personal space, but he doesn't like too much contact unless it's with someone he trusts.
Tian -- With people he doesn't trust, his personal bubble is limitless. Hates contact with others, because there's always the risk of someone trying to kill him. With Auguste, he is extremely, extremely physically affectionate. Has no personal bubble with Auguste.
Teca -- Teca is unused to contact, but has no issues about it.
21. Upcoming -- How much do they think of the future? Do they make long-term plans?
Quan -- Quan wants to become emperor, it's been his goal since he was a child, and his entire life revolves around his goal. He would do anything to become emperor, even killing his family.
Yun -- Yun does not care about the future, he didn't used to care whether he lived or died. But now, he thinks a life with Evgeniy would be nice.
Tian -- Tian want to become emperor, because he made a promise to Auguste. And he would do almost anything for it.
Teca -- Teca lives in the moment, he doesn't really think of the future. He just lives as he is, happily, and with Yan.
22. Vice -- What bad habits do they have? Is there something they would be ashamed of?
Quan -- Quan is so devoted to his goal, he abandons all else, including his heart. He never considered this a bad thing until he met Coy.
Yun -- Yun knows he should stop his harmful habits, but he can't bring himself to. He just doesn't care enough to.
Tian -- He knows full well how selfish he is, but doesn't make a move to change it. He takes and doesn't give back, didn't give back until Auguste.
Teca -- Teca is far too casual about violence, and he's far too violent himself to be healthy. He grew up around violence, and has not learned otherwise.
23. Wardrobe -- What’s their fashion style? Do they have any staple pieces?
With both Model AU and Modern AU their fashion styles got too complicated for me to describe without a five page essay.
But very basically:
Quan -- Sleek, business like, a bit formal, smoking hot.
Yun -- Casual, simplistic, elegant.
Tian -- Sexy, tight, and scandalously revealing, yet still keeping an elegant air.
Teca -- Loose and light coloured, pretty and cute.
24. X-Ray -- How’s their health? Any problem areas? Do they take care of themselves?
Quan -- Good health, and intentionally so. Health is important for appearance, and Quan takes pretty good care of himself.
Yun -- Decent health, he's pretty fit from his sword fighting. Not many problems here.
Tian -- Tian had horrible health as a child, and while he's of average health now, all the poison he's consumed has weakened him considerably. Does not take care of himself well, that's why he has Auguste.
Teca -- Spoiler: His body isn't physical, it's magical. No health problems here. No health in general.
25. Yack -- What’s their favorite thing to talk about? What do they go on about?
Quan -- Quan has no preference for subjects, he can talk about anything, really. His favourite subjects are the subjects that get Coy talking.
Yun -- Yun doesn't talk, he listens.
Tian -- Himself. No, kidding. Sort of. Tian doesn't have many subjects he can talk for long periods about, but as long as he's talking to Auguste he can talk for hours about anything. He's not much of a talker, usually.
Teca -- Magic. Teca can talk for hours about magic. And about Yan.
26. Zodiac -- What’s their astro sign? Does it fit? What would you pick, if it’s unknown?
Quan -- Leo, fits him perfectly.
Yun -- Capricorn. Pisces suits him far better.
Tian -- Scorpio, fits him perfectly.
Teca -- Pisces. Fits perfectly.
