Having so much fun writing anything other than actual lore lol
Most common funerary burials by flight:
Putting this one below the cut due to death mentions and burial descriptions I understand this can be a topic of discomfort no matter how vague one is when speaking on it <3

Headcanon that earth dragons' relationships with other flights are heavily influenced by their deity and the aftermath of the Pillar shattering. They "know the most about the first age" because of the Earthshaker's sorrowful voice recounting those stories.
Those like the Icewarden and (in my opinion since it doesn't mention what she did but it feels likely) the Lightweaver, who exchanged words with him, are seen by the earth flight as potential allies with shared goals of protection, while those like the Shadowbinder, Windsinger, and Flamecaller, who shared no words with him, are more disliked. The Earthshaker told them little of the Third Age gods and thus his flight is more neutral towards them, though the upper mages of the arcane flight seem to be privy to some offense they refuse to tell the earth flight of.

Love the scratch spot headcanon, that's so cute 💛 Also I'm intrigued by the ritualistic cannibalism headcanon - Why those flights specifically? ::0
Thank you!! ;o; That IS something I'm gonna have to draw, cuz I think people would love seeing the Deities getting scritched
But as for the cannibalism/Dragon-eating headcanons! I'm glad you asked :D
Plague: We know they're social darwinists- dragon-eating there is just a part of the natural order of things. The weak consume the strong. The fallen feed the ones who remain, and those who fall prey were destined to be prey anyway.
Nature: Similar reasons, mirroring Plague! Consuming meat is part of the natural order, and Nature dragons are keenly aware of their place in the food chain. Dragon-eating is less of a social statement like Plague, but a reminder of where they all return to at the end of their lives, re-entering the infinite cycle as predator, to food.
Light: It started out as more of a precautionary thing- Dragons would consume Imperials in order to destroy their bodies enough to keep them from turning into an Emperor. But its easy for Dragons ruled by a deity to turn habit into fanaticism- soon, the consumption of other Light Dragons became an elaborate ritual that spread to other species, and is less "We're getting rid of this biomass that could turn into a multiheaded killer Zombie" and more "WE ARE TAKING YOUR LIGHT UNTO OURSELVES SO YOU MAY LIVE FOREVER AND EVER"
Ice: Less actual reason like the above three, and more "Cannibalism happens here out of desperation more frequently than other flights". Dragons die in the snow, and the ice keeps them frozen. Dragons with varied diets that get stranded out in a snowstorm only need dig in the ice and snow to find a cache of frozen, intact meat from someone who suffered an unluckier fate than them...
Of course, just like real life, cannibalism is GENERALLY looked upon as a very distasteful thing, to put it lightly. But traditions run deep with dragons (And desparation mounts in a frozen hellscape), so most will turn a blind eye to these four Flights specifically... Still inadvisable tho.
Some Thoughts(tm)
- Lightning Dragons take dust baths. Ridgeback of any flight have dust baths... except in ice. They roll around in the snow. It is not effective. Help them, they're even dirtier than before.
- Pearlcatchers of some flights (Lightning, Fire, or Plague for example) sometimes leave their territory to go wash the grime off their scales. But especially their manes.
- Some Ice dragons use shed Gaoler or Tundra fur to make coats. Some Gaolers collect their shed fur for these dragons, if they're in the same clan.
- Guardians are quick to adopt orphan hatchlings.
- Spirals like to sleep in piles. Friends and family units. You will be slept on by a noodle if you are their friend.
- Some Obelisks will copy the habits of other dragons in their clan to try to fit in. Some dragons find this endearing. Others find it annoying.
- Plague territory is grossly hot in the summer, especially as you get closer to Arcane or Water. It's humid hot in those areas, and there's barely any wind.
- Gaolers will sleep around any hatchlings in the winter, they will protecc the babies. No, this does not only mean hatchlings but also includes smaller dragons. Yes, Spirals love sleeping on top of Gaolers.
- Pearlcatchers in Water like to collect naturally forming pearls. Some hatchlings confuse these pearls for their pearls.
- Snappers sometimes have that One Topic that they're super excited to talk about. Please sit and listen, they know so much. They want to share. They're super happy you want to learn. Please.
- Nature territory???? Super pretty in Autumn????? Gladekeeper's leaves even change colors, gorgeous dragon aunt.
- Many Plague "scientists" are making contagions. Others are making cures and antidotes. Friendly rivalries or "I hate everything you do"? Who knows!
- A spiral that's just staring off into the distance not speaking is probably thinking. Probably. Most likely.
- Skydancers too. They're probably trying to think of something.
- Are you a fluffy dragon? Are you friends with a pearlcatcher? They will braid your fluff while gossiping with you. They might even let you hold their pearl while they work! They'll sometimes even braid things into your floof, look you pretty you are!
- Whaaaat, noooo, Lightning Ridgebacks never forget to eat. Pssshhhh, they'd never get too absorbed in work and forget to eat. Nope, not them.
- (They do, and many Lightning dragons shift towards being nocturnal during summer)
- Tundras and Gaolers can see really well in the dark. Ice-born dragons sort of can as well, but not as well as the aforementioned. Guardians can as well, but mostly when they're deep underwater.
