Closed: Wasp Beetle
If there were any benefits to looking like Agnes, at least Airy was taller. No more worrying about struggling with locked doors and items five times her size. She still needed to get used to walking around in these shoes, but this handy walking stick she had picked up was making traversing easier.
Except that she had no idea where exactly she had traversed to. Even with no transfer of Agnesā abilities, her terrible sense of direction had followed her like a curse.
Whichever Sector she was in, there was a disturbing amount of pumpkins lying around. Some were as big as apples and others were the size of watermelons. A few were even as big as a horse! She could have sworn she saw at least one that was the size of a houseā¦Ā
But they all seemed to have creepy-crawly vines, like the kind that were trying to curl around her feet and stick. Airy smacked at one until it recoiled back and ad to struggle with yanking her walking stick away from a second vine. In the middle of her swatting, the fairy-turned-vestal noticed that she wasnāt the only one having produce trouble.
āOh! Are you all right there?ā She would have ignored the stranger otherwise, but in this form, she felt that some help could improve her chances of making it home (and out of this costume trap).
What nonsense had the innkeeper put herself into now?Ā
She had made it her goal to leave the sector she had always resided in, and find out more about her surroundings. Unfortunately, for her, it wouldnāt exactly be the most peaceful walk through the garden. Pumpkins had come alive. Green spindly tendrils twisted together to form thick vines that could trap any poor soul whoās ankles would come in contact with them. It seemed like the plot to a horrible horror movie she would try to force Chie to watch. While many would panic at the very touch of the vines, Yukiko wasnāt truly phased.
Sure, it was kinda overwhelming but it wasnāt exactly scary.
The cardigan-clad student jumped slightly at the sound of another personās voice. These monsters had turned this place into a maze, but she felt relieved. At least she wasnāt in this alone. No matter how much effort she put into prying the vines off of her ankle, she had no luck whatsoever. The fan that was soĀ āgenerouslyā given to her by the scientists had also snapped under the pressure.
āOh, hello. Iām alright, but I canāt seem to break myself free. Would you mind helping me out? Iāll owe you one!ā
