A vida no circo não é tão fácil quanto pensam, basta olhar para Jake, o melhor palhaço assustador que as pessoas já viram, os espetáculos sempre lotados, ele adorava olhar a multidão com cara de espanto ou diversão, mas sempre que acabava ele olhava as pessoas indo embora e ficava cabisbaixo, ele odiava ficar sozinho naquele trailer esperando o dia passar, mas sentia que aquilo iria mudar em breve.

Finalmente após alguns meses de ensaio, o grande espetáculo teve início, e como eu já esperava, foi perfeito, a ansiedade, o público eufórico, o jake, tudo! foi incrível trabalhar com as outras pessoas do turno da tarde, eles são muito legais e gentis, eu não esperava uma recepção tão boa, mas não posso negar que sempre tem exceções…
Enfim, fui me retirar para ir pra casa a avistei o jake indo para o trailer sozinho, então decidi acompanhar ele e comentar de como foi legal estar ao seu lado, a conversa fluiu muito bem, bem até demais, ele parece ser arrogante a primeira vista mas é um amor de pessoa.
Após vários meses de conversas e saídas de Edward e Jake, eles começaram a namorar, mas foram obrigados a manter em segredo por causa da fama que cairia e o contrato, e mesmo Jake falando que era melhor ele seguir outro caminho em vez de ficar escondido a vida inteira, ele disse que nunca desiste de nada e não iria desistir de seu amor, foi a melhor escolha já tomada em sua vida, os espetáculos parecem ter ganhado uma cor a mais, e na hora de ir embora não ficou mais solitário, pelo menos quando Edward está junto de si.

The shows are always packed, he loved watching the crowd with looks of amazement or amusement, but whenever it was over, he’d watch the people leave and hang his head; he hated being alone in that trailer waiting for the day to pass, but he felt that would change soon.

Finally, after a few months of rehearsals, the big show began, and just as I expected, it was perfect—the excitement, the euphoric audience, Jake, everything! It was amazing working with the others on the afternoon shift; they’re really nice and kind. I didn’t expect such a warm welcome, but I can’t deny that there are always exceptions…
Anyway, I was heading home when I saw Jake walking to the trailer alone, so I decided to follow him and tell him how nice it was to be by his side. The conversation flowed really well—maybe even too well. He seems arrogant at first glance, but he’s such a sweetheart.
After several months of conversations and dates with Edward and Jake, they started dating, but were forced to keep it a secret because of the scandal it would cause and the contract, and even though Jake said it would be better for him to take a different path rather than stay in hiding his whole life, he said he never gives up on anything and wouldn’t give up on his love. It was the best decision he’d ever made in his life; the shows seemed to have gained an extra spark, and when it was time to leave, he no longer felt lonely—at least not when Edward was by his side.
Fun fact: over time, Edward picked up Jake’s mannerisms and expressions, but with a touch of his own personality
