Every little action that was done by the other, he couldn’t help but enjoy what he would say next. Those below him were such eligible candidates in what he would strive for, looking off to the side upon his answer of a simple formality. That was more correct than anything and he took it appropriately, leaving the words alone for he dismissed the whole misconception.
❝You’re open-minded. I like that to an extent, there’s so much you can learn but some block out the much more important things.❞
It wasn’t anything that bad, though it seemed that the other worked to not seem pitiful in his own right. Changing things and stating what she be overlooked, an excuse at every corner. That was how words formed, weren’t they? Nevermind that, breaking his usual habit, he needed to alarm Fumi that soon an audience would need to be made.
❝Cerberus.❞
With another click of his phone, a aquamarine summoning circle was casted their way before the two, shifting data of numbers that went 0 and 1 raised into the sky and the wind picked up around them both. This was usual for Yamato, how their close shifted back and forth from the intensity as ropes of energy began to twist and turn from the circle, a slow tornado like form as his phone began to shift in various coded blue colors, bright light done as a smile appeared on his features. With the shifting among them and the time clearly going by and the summon coming along greatly.
Not long and soon after did data press itself together, forming an unimaginable beast within the confines of the circle. A roar escaping from the lion-like animal, it’s tail long as a snake that almost seemed metallic flicked roughly. When looking back at Yamato’s own person, his hand and arm that held the phone was slightly digitized, red and blue pixelated streams running only through that part of his body. Cerberus’ muzzle wrinkling up ferociously as it turned to look at Seledy’s direction.
❝Demons are such creative creatures. Even if we have no way to contact anyone by the casual use, these creatures can lighten our load only a bit. Surely, they can be mis-used and I can’t allow that to happen but many people don’t have the ability to do things like this.❞
Holding the card out to the beast before him, Cerberus took it into it’s gaping mouth. He only have five minutes to make sure this card reached it’s destination. It didn’t take long before he stated the name of his demon once more, it swiping it’s tail in irritation before taking off with one large jump. He only had some time so having the demon lolligag was only child’s play. ❝You should consider everything now, while you’re here. There are Gods and Demons that play around these parts, some inhuman things as well. Sounds exciting doesn’t it?❞ Though it didn’t sound as if it interested Yamato at all, it was more so Fumi who enjoyed those things. He should have at least given his name, as rude as it was to continue speaking, ❝If you’re ready to depart, things can be done much easier.❞
"Open-minded, hm? I do have my own ideas, but hearing others' opinion is something I find fascinating." Seledy remarks flatly.
Following the other's dismissal of his previous comment (which he noted, with a hint of a smile, as fairly ironic, considering his own ideas), Seledy watched as the boy pressed a button on the device he'd been fiddling with earlier. What happened next was something that not even Seledy could expect.
Seledy felt the wind getting stronger as the blue circle spread itself out between him and the other. The binary that flashed by led him to assume that this was some kind of new technology, but it was completely unlike anything he had ever seen. In his world, there were LBX, Optima and the Second World, and in others, this was possible…?
The bright energy from the circle began to take a new shape, seemingly attaching itself together, forming something new. Seledy watched in mild shock, but with full attention, as something almost like a lion developed within the circle. What was more shocking, he noticed, was that it moved as a beast should, its mouth opening to roar and even its tail moving.
Certainly, it wasn't like anything he'd ever seen throughout his lifetime, but Seledy instantly felt the will to understand it further. Such power could surely be used to help further one's desires. As Seledy met eyes with the beast, he wondered if this was what the other had meant by 'demons'.
The other continued, confirming his theory. Upon Yamato's mention that 'many people don't have the ability to do things like this', Seledy began to compare it to things he knew. The whole idea of it seemed unusual, and Seledy couldn't help mentally comparing it to Overload. Of course, that wasn't necessarily accurate, but it was the closest he knew of; and if it was similar to Overload, it could be infinitely useful to him in achieving any goals he had and would develop.
The beast seemed completely at the boy's control, taking a card from him and leaving as soon as it was called. Seledy watched it with a small smile as it left. Perhaps being stuck in a city with people from other worlds had its merits.
"That's certainly not what I had expected when you mentioned demons!" Seledy began, looking in the direction that the beast had left, before turning back to Yamato. "I'm ready to leave, but do tell me, how did you become able to bring that animal here…Cerberus, was it?"

It could have been hilarious, the fact that Fumi Kanno worked under Yamato’s rules. He would not lie, the female was talented in the field of computers. He adored those with a bright mind. To hold a type of talent that surpassed others, that could have been one of the reasons he dealt with her. Though, being him, he knew many things, some things weren’t discussed with Fumi at all and she could vouch for him that he knew much more than he would ever lead on. But it was because this male was being an inconvenience which led him to dump the younger off on her. They had so much going on at the moment, creating JPS and figuring how they were detained here. It was so much to go over but they knew they’d be close sooner or later.
The way the male acted, he could only give a smile as if he was amused by his actions. Some knew that information was better gained than seeing it for themselves, that change was what brought Yamato to give a nod. Though the younger seemed like someone who could invest in such new information, would he become a sort of threat? Who was to know. Contemplating brought upon him as he wondered how the female they would be visiting soon would be about the fact of someone she didn’t know visiting her. Fumi could hold an attitude when dealt with people below her. Oh how charming she could be once speaking in her continuous logic phrases of how matter could be consolidated together. Could the other catch up with someone like her? He was use to it, her babbles and usually to those new when meeting her were intimidated by that fact.
Even when polite by giving up information of who he was, the director only took in this new data for himself. Seledy Kreisler was a very intricate name. One was able to tell a lot about someone by what they were given. Yamato, being a part of the Hotsuin family that was dated well back was familiar to some. Even holding secrets to their name, this being where various demons were located, the dragon stream in their old home of a cytoplasmic consumption that formed together that turned into a dragon of his use. There was so much he could toy around with but giving this person’s curiosity towards Fumi was not a fatal plan. He hadn’t raised his hand but only crossed his arms, looking down at the male as he decided where he would be placed.
❝Do you truly think of such things against yourself? Becoming an inconvenience or not, if you perceive yourself to be, it’s truly saddening. I do not have time for such fragile thoughts since if you do not hold yourself high, you’ll only damage yourself to failure.❞ Removing his phone from his pocket, the male flipped it open, clicking a few buttons that could be heard between them. He had no service so there was no call to be made but he did check about his demon, it would have been better to send a quick message to her, wouldn’t it? ❝This trip may take awhile, I have to make sure she’s even stable to see people.❞ Pulling a card from his pocket, holding his phone out forward before glancing back at Seledy.
❝Humor me, do you believe in Demons?❞
Seledy was quite taken aback with the response. Did this boy truly think that he held himself in such low regard…? Perhaps it was for the best that he did, but Seledy couldn't help but feel a little offended internally. Of course, he knew what he was capable of better than most people, and regarded himself almost as far from an 'inconvenience' as one could.
"Oh, that was simply a formality." Seledy dismissed Yamato's comment with a brief gesture. "Please pay it no mind."
Seledy watched, slightly intrigued by the sudden appearance of the male's phone. It looked like an old-fashioned CCM, and sounded fairly similar. It wasn't quite what he'd expected to see. Perhaps he was using a communications function…? With his comment, it certainly seemed that way.
Of course, Seledy himself didn't use a CCM. He'd seen students use them practically constantly back at Kamui Daimon, but that was mostly because they were used in War Time. As the boy fiddled with his device, Seledy began considering what kind of person this 'Fumi Kanno' could be. Someone incredibly valuable, for sure. His mind was set on using these people to further his own cause.
The next question confused him slightly. Demons? What did that have to do with anything? Obviously, studying demons and the like wasn't his area of expertise. He'd mostly run sociology lectures back at the school (which didn't really touch upon the supernatural), and those were mostly used to influence the students with his own opinions. It seemed as if people rarely talked about demons anymore, although he could distinctly recall comments about them from many years ago. Wasn't there someone who commented that demons could influence people to do evil?
Stupid nonsense. The only thing able to lead people astray is their own desire. This was prominent among the secretive leaders of the world, and Seledy treated the idea that the scientists running this project have their own cruel desires as fact.
Still, Seledy picked his reply carefully at the risk of getting on the bad side of someone that could be useful by answering their (seemingly genuine) question wrongly.
"Demons?" He repeated. "I don't consider them often, but I don't doubt that their existence is a possibility."

Time was of the essence and seeing that he had to share it with someone else was truly bothersome. Looking to see who had wanted to indulge in his time, even fell upon a boy that truly looked young. He could only take him to be around the age of fourteen to maybe sixteen, possibly fifteen if he was to take away the added year. Arms crossed, his back straight as he did not allow himself to falter. Curiosity was such a scary thing, how people would do anything to obtain knowledge but this was rhetorical. They already knew enough for the scientists had granted them a thorough explanation once they woke up.
❝What I know? Haven’t you gained enough from once you first appear? There’s a lot of things I know about this place but witnessing it yourself sounds more ideal if anything. The things I could say would never make up for you may deny it. To have proof, you must see or have it become tangible in your hands. Words can only leave you astray.❞ Even as they lived within this life, the set that the scientists had placed them in like guinea pigs to watch their each and every move. Who knows what they were trying to create or recreate, to play as if they were Gods, how amusing.
All that was being said. ❝Though not just everyone asks can they have someone explain more of this system, would you want to indulge in it’s history or something much more in-depth like data? If so, I’d have someone else for you to meet so you can deal with that. Her name is Fumi Kanno, she could answer any question you may have.❞
It seemed as if the person Seledy had encountered had very strong opinions themselves. Such incessant noise following such a simple question…How hard was it just to reply?! Seledy wasn't interested on a lecture about life experience or being led 'astray'. Really, now, he was becoming quite frustrated with the lengthy speech he was getting!
Despite that, he retained his perfectly calm expression and gentle smile flawlessly.
"Of course, I would like to experience it first-hand," Seledy begins calmly, "but I believe that information given by others holds its own value." It was definitely worthwhile hearing the opinions of different people in the same situation. That way, it was easier to influence those opinions when needed.
Despite the long (and excessively boring) comments from the other, one particular part did actually hold Seledy's attention. The possibility of being introduced to someone else, particularly someone that possessed knowledge about data behind the city….Seledy was not one to turn down the opportunity to meet such a worthwhile person. Perhaps the teenager he had stopped also knew about the details of the experiment…?
Subtly pleased with himself, he began to talk again. "History would be interesting, but data would be incredibly useful. I would like to learn as much as I can about Hive City." he comments innocently. Arming oneself with knowledge is never a bad idea.
"Perhaps I should introduce myself if this conversation is to continue. My name is Seledy Kreisler. I hope I'm not inconveniencing you too much."
