shows I’m looking forward to in 2026
I think this is the year for k drama and I only know 2 show so far. I think I would give these series a try but not sure if I would be able to finish those due to my high work hours (with below minimum wage lmao)
k dramas
The remarried empress - put it high becuz I think the costumes are so pretty but as per regular Disney show, I don’t think the plot would be going anywhere
21st century prince wife - I hope this is just my eyes but I don’t see the chemistry between the two but I know I will watch it regardless
c dramas
not sure if the ban of ceo dramas is real but I current,y don’t have any shows to follow that I know of
j dramas
I don’t watch j dramas most of the time but recently I got into them and I like how domestic and homey it feels. Currently watching my dining table and can’t believe it was out 3 years ago… I am definitely trying for some more after I finished it.
1, our dining table - the only show that I am watching and am planning to finish.. it is so cozy it is insane.. def food for mental health
Thai dramas
Gmmtv2026 has too many shows that I can’t watch right now but I loved 17th spring and jimmysea show. 1. ticket to heaven - the process is still in heaven lmao with the way both of them are so busy at the moment
2. love u teacher - haven’t watched perthsanta series but i loved them in me and thee and the show looks unique so i am sat
3. 17th spring - I love controversial shows and this is one of them. Hope they do many workshops though
4. Magic lover - the only romcom in the 2026 year line up haha.. I can’t wait for all of them
5. unknown lover - this is the year of lover from dmd. I would love a good toxic yaoi but I wonder dmd would commit to the bit
6. Scarlet heart Thailand - if I am honest this doesn’t live up to my expectation but it is still okay… I am waiting for it! there are shows like only friends and girls rules and such but I am not sure I would watch it so it is not included
American shows
not sure if I could count red white and royal blue new installment under this but u get it
also I just knew that heated rivalry is huge in the west. Haven’t watch it yet and don’t know if I will watch it in the near future though.
