It was the night after the first challenge of the Triwizard tournament, and everybody in Gryffindor house decided to celebrate Harry’s victory, even though the boy who lived had chosen to tuck himself into bed early. The Weasley twins were the unofficial Firewhiskey suppliers to all of Gryffindor’s common room parties, and this party was no exception. A muggle-born 7th year had brought a speaker, an aux cord, and an MP3 player out from his trunk, blasting muggle music that even the purebloods seemed to enjoy. Amidst the loud music, there were Gryffindors scattered about- Some were dancing, some were talking, and some were doing more than talking. In comparison to the rest of the chaos ensuing in the room, the game of Spin the Bottle next to the fireplace was about the most innocent thing to occur. After Seamus Finnigan’s turn earned him a kiss with Romilda Vane, the two, to their best efforts, tried to discreetly leave the circle to continue in the dormitories. You watched Romilda as she staggered to the dormitories with a drunk Seamus trailing after her and laughed along with the rest of the group as Seamus tripped twice on his way out. You were then elbowed in the side by an eager Lee Jordan, prompting you to take your turn. You turned to flash him a quick smile and leaned over to spin the empty Firewhiskey bottle. It spun like a pinwheel until it landed on Fred Weasley. Acquainted enough to make it comfortable, but not too close to make it weird. You shrugged, and leaned in.
