Day 11, this is Fructoruu's character, Mircly! Which is also the last attack on my followers who aren't on my team, so I guess next I'll attack the people I follow on my lonesome unless there's a revenge to do
The big 10! This is Llanzo, a character belonging to artsyfartsy16 on Artfight (I think maybe @artsysgarden here but I'm not entirely sure, plz correct me if I'm wrong lol)! Can't believe there's only three weeks left!
A bit early on this one, but I have real life plans tomorrow so I figured I'd get day 9 out of the way. This is another WoF OC, Frostbite, belonging to @artisticrach22! Dragons really are cool, I should make some OCs of my own one of these days.
Done later than I would have liked, this is Artfight attack number 8 of @vampirealpaca's The Inevitable and Liam. Probably should have thought more of the color theory before going into it, but I like the way it turned out.
One full week of Artfight! This is @beepbeep-clowncar's Tiefling, Fletch! Their design was fun, and I just love Tieflings in general, probably my second most played species. Here's to 24 more days!
I was planning a different attack today lol, but revenges take priority so here's my piece for @murdockr! At least it was easy to pick which OCs to do, haha. These two seem fun, a shame they got caught up in such terrible circumstances.

The last of the people I really know irl, this one is for my youngest sibling, AvyRulz on Artfight. I did read WoF as a kid but never got into making OCs of it, but she seems fun.
Didn't hop on till just now but ArtFight Day 3 attack! Sadly two out of three of these guys aren't on the site (they're mine, I'm just lazy) so not worth as many points but I'm still happy with it. They're the most well adjusted throuple that ever existed, no stalking/emotional manipulation/protective issues here, no sir

As any good author, instead of actually working on my WIP I instead drew some of the main characters after a shopping spree. The one on top is the Main Male Lead, below is his best friend/guy who keeps his feet on the ground. There are three other main characters, but they're controlled by my co-author so I may or may not draw them.
Know what, screw it, who cares. Maybe just putting them here will motivate me to write more.
I'm working on a story with a friend of mine, and in order to flesh out some characters (and catch up to the amount she has already written), I'm going to put some prologue chapters on this page now.
Finn dug through the cans in the supply crate, noting that it wasnât incredibly full. It should still last them a week or so, but he just hoped that the supply truck would be more reliable than the letter one. Now where were they⊠aha! He pushed a blanket aside, revealing five bottles marked only with triple Xâs. Usually seeing so many would be a cause for celebration, but these days⊠Well, the limit was usually one per two men in the platoon. After the last charge, they didnât even outnumber the bottles one to one.
He sighed and grabbed a couple of them, waving for his comrades to come over.
âAlright, team, grab your cups, soupâs on!â
First to arrive was Slank, as usual. He just nodded solemnly in greeting as he pushed his cup toward Finn.
âHey, Slank, you feelin-â
âFill it up. All the way.â
âI- right, of course.â He obliged, the thick liquor pouring out gloopily. âRemember to save a bit for the toast?â
Slank just grunted and wandered off, immediately taking a drink. Finnâs brow furrowed slightly as he watched, but his attention was quickly brought to the next arrival. The large gunner slammed her cup down on the crate, looking up at the top of the trench warily.Â
âYou doing alright, Circe?â Finn asked as he poured some for her. Yet again, he was met with just another grunt. He pressed his lips together for a moment. â... Yeah, long day, for sure.â
She shrugged and drained her cup entirely, setting it back down and gesturing for another pour.
âWe only have so much of this, you know, just because thereâs extra doesnât mean we should go through it all in one day,â he reproved gently, but poured her another serving anyway. Despite her harsh demeanor, he couldnât bring himself to get too upset at her; as their heavy gunner, she was usually at the brunt of attacks. Clearly she was going through a lot.
The last of the remaining squad members, Frankie, came jogging over. âSorry, I was finishing up a project, what were you calling about?â
âFigured we should have one last toast before we head out⊠uh, want, like- tea, or something?â He didnât want her to feel left out or anything for not drinking with them, honestly a part of him respected her for quitting while she was ahead. Sheâd been too young to drink when she first joined, and after her first couple sips decided that it wasnât for her. Might have been nice to have that self control.
âSure, Iâll take some.â
âYouâll probably have to have it real tepid, we donât have that much time, but feel free.â He gestured with his head towards the supply crate while he poured his own cup. As she went to find herself a tea bag, Finn jogged to chase down Slank.
âHey, we have to do the toast still!â
âIâm not doinâ it.â
Finn slowed. âWha- What do you mean youâre not doing it? We have to, weâŠâ
âWell, Iâm not. Iâm not charging. Iâm going home.â Slank tossed his gun to the ground as he marched off.
âSlank, come on, we⊠thereâs only four of us, we canât lose more-â
âThen you leave too! All of us! Weâre not making any progress, weâre just waiting for our turn to die!â
âWe canât just abandon the fight! We were given a duty by our countries, a duty to stop Sternhold from expanding even more than it has! You know what will happen if the line weakens? Whatâll happen to your-â
Slank turned sharply and pushed Finn into a trench wall with a hard, wet slap. âStop talking about her! Stop talking at all! Just shut up for once in your d*mn life! I know! I know! You think Iâm stupid!? You think I havenât thought about any of this!? Thereâs plenty of cannon fodder here, one person leaving wonât do sh*t! Unlike you and your f*cking imaginary girlfriend, I actually have a life to get back to!â
Pain shot through Finnâs mouth as he was knocked back, his tongue getting caught between his clenched teeth. Shut up, he could take. Heâd heard that plenty of times before, that was nothing new. The girlfriend thing, they had never been officially together anyway, that was⊠survivable. But cannon fodder? Abandoning his squad? Finn shoved himself off the wall, leaping at Slankâs legs, bowling him over with the force.
âWha- hey! Get offa me!â Slank tried to scramble away, but Finn hugged his legs tight. Burning pain radiated from his ribs as the toe of Slankâs boot rammed into them.
âPull yourself together, Slank! We have to do this together!â He cried. He couldnât let go, not again. He couldnât take another loss. First Ollie, then Estelle, then Ma, his other brothers, Agnes, Vincent, Archer, Captain- he wasnât losing Slank. He wasnât. He wouldnât.
He could feel hands on his shoulders, trying to push him off, but he clung to him tighter. Finn was never particularly strong back home, but years of carrying the large canister launcher day in and day out had bulked him up slightly, and every bit of that strength was being used to hold on.
A sharp whistle cut through the air, and both Finn and Slank immediately broke apart, snapping to attention. Lieutenant Colonel Oswald glowered at the two muddied men in front of him.
âWell? Whatâs the meaning of this?â he demanded.
âI-â
âHe just ju-â
âOkay, but he-â
âOne. At. A. Time.â The Lieutenant Colonel snapped. âCaptain?â
âI, uh⊠â Finn fidgeted. âWe were just⊠sparring, sire. Running drills for when we get to the enemy trenches. Sire.â
His heart pounded as Oswald scrutinized his face. As angry as he had been at Slank for trying to leave, he still didnât want him to get in trouble. The ground beneath him was also starting to sway slightly, though he did his best to stand tall.
â... This true, Lieutenant?â
â... Yes, Lieutenant Colonel.â Slank answered. Finn didnât dare look over to see what kind of expression he had, but he at least sounded sure. More sure than Finn felt, at least.
âAnd the shouting? Was that part of your drills as well?â
â... It was me, sire. I had a bit too much to drink, I wonât do it again.â
âMake sure you donât, Captain. Youâre not to drink for the next week. If I see that you have, your entire platoonâs supply will be confiscated.â
âUnderstood, sire.â
With a nod, Oswald walked back down the trenches. Once he rounded the corner, Slank silently offered his cup to Finn. Finn snorted a bit and accepted, jerking his head back to the rest of the squad as he started walking back. A second passed. Five. Finn's heart slowly climbed its way past his stomach until-
Squelch, squelch. He turned back to see Slank reluctantly following. The vice grip on his ribcage loosened; they'd have one more toast yet.
If I start writing snippets of a story I'm working on, would anyone read it?
It's (trying to be) a mix of Eldritch and WW1 following a group of soldiers who were experimented on, though I'd probably only post prologue bits until the main story is more fleshed out.
