Still in artblock, so just some quick hand sketches practice while talking to my parents. The left one is from a stock photo and the right drawing is my own hand.

Anyway I’m discovering Benjamin Clementine and so far, loving his music so much especially “I won’t complain” and “London”.

Finally we start on hands... So sketching mostly my own left hand except one and I can already sense that in a few month the lack of right hand practise vs the left one will be catastrophic. Need more observational drawing practice...

Sorry for the lack of update lately, things aren’t really on the sunshine and butterflies side but I’d love to keep my at least 1 painting/month challenge this week end.

Revas - WIP.

This is supposed to be a spring-themed painting but then Two Steps From Hell - Heart of Courage happens...

Luthiel’s elder sister. Tall elf. I’m really afraid of the “same face” syndrom since they have same hair cut but are not related by blood TBH. Well anyway it’ll be very different colouring, Revas’ pale golden skinned, golden brown eyes & dark hair.

Luthiel is like watching the cloud at bright summer days, playing in the snow at winter, sitting in the high speed train watching forests and mountains and countryside running fast, laughing merrily, lighthearted teases and bear-crushing hugs. But also quiet gentle smile no matter what, recognizing beauty in everything and see starkness as a white canvas waiting to be painted over with thousands of colours.

WIP: Quick sketch of my little Luthiel for painting & skin practice. She doesn’t get enough love so this needs immediate correction.

Spring’s here but I really want to draw her in winter colour since she’s a winter’s child actually...

@feynites I once went to a hiking on the mountain on a night trail just around the end of sunset, and at one place it feels like the trees are forming a corridor and there were fireflies. So many of them. It felt truly magical. I didn’t manage to draw the ceremony itself in its splendour, it ended up being something simpler, less decorated.

Here’s to the two bonded souls.   May the road rise up to meet them.

...I do not know what this is except that at one point, I was having massive headcannons with @pyrrhy, @traubenuss and @slayersangel of what @feynites‘s Uthvir in General Lavellan AU would look like if they were a cartoon character who has slightly curlier/wavier hair than usual. In any case I think Squish might have a good time ruffling it.

TBH this feels all wrong, this feels more like Curiosity than Uthvir. Well I’m back to painting the Sharkbait Mawwiage pic :3

The Eluvian Compendium Project: Vallaslin

“Vallaslins are blood writings indicating favour and devotion worn by the elven people specific to the Evanuris the serve.

The colour of these markings are chosen by them or by their leaders. Each Evanuris has a different pattern of vallaslin, in order to differentiate one’s followers from anothers.

Vallaslins are worn on one’s face”.

So... I ended up making an illustrated codex specific for @feynites‘ Looking Glass...

I’m still new to ink drawing so... Let’s just say I did my best? (ง’̀-‘́)ง

Eluvian Compendium Mini-project: WIP1 - Vallaslin

Well since I can’t really draw much on digital lately, but is still in dire need of drawing Uthvir, this just happened. I’m sorry for the image quality, it’s drawn on sketchbook & will be inked later so I can’t pushed the pencil too hard or it’ll look bad when inked.

Basically this is a kind of illustrated codex for Feynite’s Looking Glass fic about ancient Elvhenan, which has a complex lore & world-building of itself outside Bioware’s Dragon Age canon.

@feynites​: do you have any suggestion for the short accompaniment text...? HELP

I don’t know how much time this will take and how many time is still available for me but well... here’s some brainstorming for the theme & featured characters on the next ones that I already got image in my head... until I can go back to full digital painting.
