looking particularly for the riding / flying prompt for ananke——this requires an unaffiliated partner.
i'd like to do a setup where ananke and the other muse find the culprit of the flower sabotage, an npc that we'll co-write throughout our replies. the npc claims that it's the flowers' doing that there's so much infighting between everyone in this task, that when lumenthus flowers die as these ones are beginning to do, they release a pheromone substance in self-defense that interacts with the nervous systems of those around it. it's basically like rage powder but not a powder. as a result, existing tensions, animosities, resentments, and short fuses are heightened. the npc asserts that they need to destroy the batch of flowers and find another way to tend to them for the festival or else everything will go horribly wrong. but which came first: the chicken or the egg? the infighting and factional rivalries, or the sabotage of the flowers? this thread would be conversational——our characters confronting the npc for the actions they're about to take and the ensuing exchange. ananke will be unsure about believing the claim and the idea of immediately disposing of all the flowers, but she can be potentially convinced either way depending on your muse and how the npc acts. i have no preference for the stance your muse takes. either way, at the very end of the thread, i'd like us to just roll a D2 to determine whether the npc was right or not ; this is because i'm not interested in whether our muses are right or wrong in their response to the npc and i think that keeping the truth unknown until the very end of the thread allows for more focus on the dynamic of the conversation and potential agreements or disagreements themselves. for this, i obviously need an unaffiliated muse, but i'd also like someone who's willing to juggle the npc equally with me and not leave them entirely for me to write for. i also need someone who's willing to write disagreement, tension, and potentially heightened and negative emotion in their character and receive it from others. remember that the lumenthus flower here exacerbates existing negativity in people around it: if your muse is already feeling impatient, flippant, annoyed, stressed, or pedantic that day or about the situation, this is going to be like that plus if they slept 3 hours the previous night, woke up on the wrong side of the bed, and haven't eaten all day 😂 i'd like a thought experiment on people who aren't necessarily at their best but are trying to address a situation.
if interested, discord dm's are preferred if you have me there! if not, a tumblr im here works just fine as well. thanks!
