lookback 2014 Stepsss
Stepsss is your new running partner, personal trainer and friend. Stepsss is a smart insole layer with embedded sensors that improves the running technique and prevents injuries. It consists of two parts – a smart sensor layer and a module, which contains the processing chip and battery. The module is attached to the shoe laces, as it is the part that provides real-time feedback to the runner. Stepsss has two main goals: to help new runners learn to run properly and thus avoid getting injured and to provide a tool to the experienced ones as well for tracking their performance through detailed map of the pressure they apply in various zones of the foot during their training.

lookback 2014 Liftago
Liftago is an open marketplace for taxis - where users can choose the best driver for them nearby, drivers utilize their available capacity and taxi companies tackle their capacity issues. We are not creating a new market like Uber or Lyft which we admire, but rather optimizing the huge existing one. Only by optimizing existing transportation modes and make them efficient and much more accessible can we create bigger value than our own personal cars in short term. This is our product video: http://youtu.be/zNeiFVt80e0 (EN subtitles) This is a few seconds’ video in English to see how Liftago is able to save thousands of kilometres driven by taxis in vain in each city: http://youtu.be/lDYMYTF4Kqw enclosed is our team photo, a demo and our basic screenshot (you can find more at app store or google play under Liftago Taxi app)
lookback 2014 Datamolino
Manual input accounts for 10% of all errors in data. Datamolino uses the most advanced optical character recognition technology to extract the data, if an inconsistency is detected the document is rechecked by real people. Great technology and a human verification layer means users have peace of mind that their data is as close to 100% correct as possible.
Manual data entry is time consuming, and professionals need to use their time as effectively as possible. Copying numbers into a computer isn’t the best use of time or skills. Independent research reports that switching to automation can save 62% of invoice processing costs, and around 2% of a business’ total turnover.

lookback 2014 askastranger
Ask a Stranger is a messaging app with a twist (or two). You can ask questions and request help from strangers. All this is location based and real-time. It is just like asking people on the street for help. With a notable difference that you can reach out to everyone with one simple message. To everyone who is competent to help you in the given location.
People will help you because helping means points for them and points earn them real money. More points are awarded for quick and useful responses. More money is paid for higher point balances.
Ask a Stranger calls this Community Income. Everyone is entitled to a share of the Community Income based on his/her helping contribution to the Ask a Stranger Community.

lookback 2014 Zoomsquare
Zoomsquare was born after co-founder Andreas Langegger grew tired of the frustrations of apartment-hunting in Vienna, especially after having to check so many websites. Desperate to simplify the stressful process, he developed a real estate search prototype, later meeting co-founder Christoph Richter at a startup event, and together creating zoomsquare. After some initial funding and beta testing, it finally launched in October. They're now looking to offer a freemium model that incorporates free and paid elements, as well as add-on features and apps for Android and iOS, and tags to help users search out what's most important to them in a potential new neighbourhood.
