The Disney Princesses’ looks throughout the years.Â
The original 6 princesses went through a lot more changes than Pocahontas-Rapunzel obviously. They had their gold and bejeweled looks. After that there were gold crowns and then silver crowns. After that it was sparkles added to the dresses. Then metallic dresses (as seen in Snow White’s). The last one shows their new redesigned looks. In Ariel’s mermaid form one, the last is her new look for the Little Mermaid Blu-ray release.Â
I have no idea what’s up with Mulan’s looks. They’re just all really inconsistent and all over the place.
Pocahontas isn’t on here, ya racist.

she’s too powerful
There was an outline that I had in season 1 that was like halfway through the season where it was like they… it was basically just like a 20-minute parody of Labyrinth…. It’s just like Mabel goes into the labyrinth—it’s not THE labyrinth, it’s LIKE the labyrinth, but the whole thing is just jokes about the labyrinth. It’s like a meta-labyrinth. Like she rents Labyrinth, and Dipper’s seen it a million times, and he’s sick of it, and he keeps complaining during the movie, and she’s like “I wish the King of the Groblins would take my brother away so I could enjoy watching Labyrinth!" And then he gets sucked into the labyrinth, and then this David Bowie-like guy is like, “If you want to save your brother, you have to go through the maze!" and she doesn’t wanna save her brother, she just wants to hang out with the David Bowie guy. And, like, meanwhile Dipper has this B-plot where the reason he hates Labyrinth so much is that he’s scared of puppets but he’s afraid to admit it, like, he’s like, “That movie’s stupid, that movie’s stupid!" but really he’s terrified of puppets and he’s gotta get over his puppet fear. I thought it was hilarious, but the executives were like, “We don’t think anyone is going to appreciate this reference."

What do you think about the Trayvon Martin Verdict?
Rebloggable by request.
Q. What do you think about the Trayvon Martin Verdict? — liveinmessenger
A. I didn’t watch any of trial, and given that there was not, to my knowledge, any direct eye witness who saw the whole thing (other than Zimmerman), I’m not super surprised by the not guilty verdict on murder. Proving guilt beyond reasonable doubt is not an easy task — and intentionally so.
I am somewhat surprised that Zimmerman was not convicted of manslaughter; as it seems to me that is a far easier case to make given the evidence available.
However, I should note that there’s a real extent to which I don’t feel qualified to talk about what the verdict should or shouldn’t have been.Part of this is because, as I said, I didn’t watch the trial, and even if I had, I wouldn’t be in possession of all the information the jury had.
But a bigger issue is the incredible contradictions in the media coverage. I know this is something everyone has complained about in relation to this case, but the complaints are to a large degree accurate. Personally, I’ve read wildly divergent media accounts of the characters and histories of Martin and Zimmerman both, as well as of the night of the shooting — to the point that I’m not even 100% confident in my own ability to recount what happened.
