Alec, and all of the following blogs have been archived and moved to new blogs by the same names:

all of these blogs have moved to their original addresses, i was only able to tag some of them bc of how new the blogs are. all of the above are sideblogs of the new alec, as well. that hasn’t changed. it was time to clean up and start fresh and i honestly feel so good about doing this. any threads that have not been plotted between us are getting dropped. there is a starter call up on the new blogs though, so feel free to like that so we can get something started.

her mouth was wide opened but she closes it. this may be another version of herself, but this was someone she didn’t recognize. so far, there were differences between her two selves, or whatever she could call this strange meeting. “ oh. “  the word was barely audible, not sure how to react. when her father had died, she had felt nothing and struggled with that for a few months. how could she not feel anything for her biological father’s death? green eyes look up at the other, “ how did he die?” 

this was so strange, talking to herself, but not. they had the same stories, but they’d happened differently. the same name, but not the same face. it all felt... confusing. “ i- i stabbed him, ” she straightened her back, not willing to be judged by herself. “ he killed jace, and raised raziel. he was going to destroy downworlders and shaodwhunters. i had to stop him. ”

a soft sigh left her lips as emerald hues stare at the ground, trying to imagine the girl’s pain, but she couldn’t. she couldn’t even bring herself to say sorry because she was so much more than sorry, there were no words to describe her sorrow for the other her. she nodded, “ died at lake lyn. he’s been dead for ten years in my dimension, i haven’t thought about him in years. he never deserved my attention. “ 

clary didn’t want to think about it, it was still so fresh to her. still hurt too much. it had been hurting more recently, now that she actually had the time to think about it, the mortal war as it was being called was over and clary had too much time on her hands. “ t-ten years? ” she couldn’t believe it, she could practically still feel her father’s blood on her fingers. “ i just- he just died. ” she muttered.

         “ she… died? “  the words come out of clary’s mouth slowly, asking her other self the question she was afraid to ask. if her mom had died, clary would’ve been broken. there were no words for that feeling, jocelyn fray was her hero. even though she didn’t want the other to feel any pain, she was merely curious. “ how’d it happen? “

“ yeah, ” she muttered, steeling herself regardless of the fact she was talking to herself. no one understood her pain, or could. the closest possible person who could was luke. this clary wasn’t her. also, she felt jealousy at the fact that this version of her still had her mother. “ it was a demon attack, ” she replied. “ an accident. ” she had no plans to mention alec, in case they got the wrong idea. “ another miscalculation by valentine- wait, he’s dead in your dimension too, right? ” magnus had used the word dimension when he explained it to her.

for years, the clave has established a cold peace. a system that keeps shadowhunters and downworlders safe; except for the seelies. for years the seelies have suffered. they’ve died. they have no protection and the shadow world has ignored them for the sake of their own safety. finally, enough is enough. the seelie queen and the unseelie king decide to take matters into their own hands. they use a secret weapon to meld different universes together. a distraction of sorts, for the clave to figure out. so that the seelies can start their own war. now there are three different versions of the shadow world and each version of the clave is trying to figure out the best way to handle it. the spiral labyrinth has gotten wind of what’s happening and the warlocks within are beginning to get involved. however, with this new attack, the cold peace? may just turn into the cold war if the nephilim find out it was the seelies who did this to them all.

                      this is a shadowhunters multi-universe gv.

“because that’s what i thought it was. sure they loved me, but it seemed more like it was out of obligation, like they didn’t have a choice. they just… put up with me.” he leaned forward, resting his arms on his knees, shaking his head slightly. “they just tolerated me, but you? my clary was their golden child. my version of you got all the attention and everything given to her on a silver platter while i was just there. you got accepted to art school, here comes the party. meanwhile when i got accepted to julliard it was just a nod, like ‘yeah cool you can bang keys but clary is like picasso’.”

clary felt her heart strings tug. she’d thought he’d been happy. she thought of her short trip to his world. her parents there, how perfect her life had seemed. “ i’m so sorry that happened. ” she said, “ i can’t imagine. ” she truly couldn’t. “ you were going to go to julliard? ” her eyes lit up. “ oh my god, that’s incredible. ”

“about how our- i mean my parents treated me growing up.” he shifted away slightly before turning to look at her. “i remembered overhearing them talking about how i was more of an… well a “happy” accident, although to them it was less happy and more of an inconvience.”

“ what? ” she said, an ache in her chest as she thought about how her own mom talked of how she’d hated johnathan when he was born. “ but, i though you said you had a happy childhood? ” it had helped, knowing at least in some world their family had been happy.

“it’s tempting though.” he leaned against her once they were seated, resting his head on her shoulder with a soft sigh. “it’s more what didn’t happen. sure i talked about them all a ton when i first got here, but being here gave me some time to think about things.”

she out her arm around his shoulders to comfort him. when he first got there clary didn’t want to be near him. too many memories. but, once she got to know him he couldn’t be further from johnathan. “ okay, and what have you been thinking about? ”

“i am, i just… i’m not that happy about it actually.” he shied away from her, taking a few steps away with a sigh. “it’s hard to explain, but i just… i’m not excited to go back.”

oh no. “ hey now, no running away, ” she teased, taking his hand and leading him so they both were sitting on the edge of his bed. “ what happened? i though you missed your family? it was all you talked about when you got here. ”

“a couple days or hopefully a couple weeks?” he pulled his arms back slightly, slipping his hands into his pockets as he shifted slightly. “yay. i finally get to go back and everything can go back to normal.”

“ hey, ” she dipped her head to try and catch his eyes a hand on his shoulder. “ i thought you’d be happy. you get to back and see your family, your friends. ” did it suck that he had to leave, yes? but, it wasn’t like she didn’t get it.

“clary!” he had dropped what he was holding the moment his door flung open, wrapping his arms around her almost as tight has she had before pulling back slightly. “it’s… it’s over? for real? that’s… great.”

“ yep! ” she grinned up at him. “ alec just called. it’s all settled. i mean it will take a couple days since they’re still political things being worked out, but it’s happening! ” she squeezed his arms. “ you get to go home. ”
