the only real prison is fear, and the only real freedom is freedom from fear
âHeavenâ and âhellâ are states of awareness in the NOW, not âplacesâ we find ourselves in after we die. It is a matter of conscious choice of thoughts, emotions and beliefs, NOW.
Many of us allow âouter forcesâ and âauthoritiesâ to mould our perception of ourselves â and to define who we are and why we are here â on all levels of existence, including after physical death.
Take, for instance, the doctrinal notions of âheavenâ and âhell,â which have been used to regulate peopleâs behaviour since the dawn of organized religion. Both these ideas can be used to keep us from exploring our desires and from actually living in the now.
Escaping this reality by living on a promise of a perfect afterlife in heaven or cowering in fear of eternal punishment in hell, are both confining perspectives that can deprive us of full awareness and focus in our experience of our present. Unfortunately, they are also very common ways people use to navigate through physical life.
âHeavenâ and âhellâ are not static âlocationsâ in some afterlife realm where you end up on account of your doings here on Earth. They are states of heart and mind â or more accurately, viewpoints we consciously or unconsciously choose to âoperateâ from in our everyday lives.
The way I see it, heaven is created on Earth when you are in alignment with your source: fulfilling your desires and dreams, living your full potential and creating consciously by knowing what you want and who you are.
Heaven is when you understand that you are a deliberate, conscious creator of your own reality: manifesting for the joy of it, living from a love-based perspective, imagining your life the way YOU want it to be and acting consciously by giving yourself time to think in every situation. In short, experiencing heaven is about consciously creating what YOU desire to explore in your reality.
Hell is the opposite. It is when you are out of alignment with your source: ignoring your dreams and passions, not living your full potential and not knowing what you want or who you are. âHellâ on Earth is perpetuated by a negative state of mind nurturing limiting beliefs that âtellâ you that you are insignificant and that the reality âout thereâ is dictating the way your life unfolds.
It promotes an existence in which you create your reality from a fear-based perspective â avoiding pain, aimlessly reacting to outer stimuli and often being a victim â instead of creating a life where you are in control and actively seeking joy and abundance. In short, experiencing hell is characterized by the unconscious creation of what you do not want in your reality.
And while we are talking about hell and heaven, letâs talk about sin. What is sin? If you are the embodiment of your desires and you are here to explore who YOU are in time and space, then wouldnât it be fair to call âhurtingâ yourself by not following your desires and pursuing your dreams, a sin? Not fulfilling your purpose in life is a violation of the God-given intention of your life. It is to go against the meaning of your existence.
How can I be so sure of all this? Because my childhood was the type of hell I am talking about. And for many years I could not figure out why âGodâ would put me in such a place. Until I understood that âGodâ actually was me interacting with an unconditionally accepting Universe, giving me the opportunity to use my free will and to explore my creative might.
By offering me polarities to play with and by allowing me to feel how it is to transform thoughts into matter, God showed me how to bend the fabric of the Universe. This gave me the understanding that I chose to be born into âhellâ, just so I could experience the immense joy of creating âmy own heavenâ. Isnât that beautiful?
âTime isnât precious at all, because it is an illusion. What you perceive as precious is not time but the one point that is out of time: the Now. That is precious indeed. The more you are focused on timeâpast and futureâthe more you miss the Now, the most precious thing there is.â
The thoughts that pass through your mind are responsible for almost everything that happens in your life.
Not all thoughts are equal. Stray ones that you think once or twice cannot do much, but your predominant thoughts, the ones you repeat often, influence your behavior and attitude, affect your actions and reactions, and shape your reality.
Weak thoughts hardly have any effect, but powerful thoughts can create great changes.
Mind power is composed of your attention, your mental images and your thoughts. Thoughts are energy. Though subtle and invisible, they can affect reality â just like the wind, which is invisible, but can be powerful, so are your mind and thoughts.
Your mind power plays an important role in creative visualization and the law of attraction.
If you plant seeds, water them, and give them fertilizers, they will grow into healthy and strong plants.
Thoughts are like seeds. They have a natural tendency to grow, get powerful, and manifest in your life, if you feed them with your attention and allow them to grow.
Your attention, interest and enthusiasm is what makes them powerful. If you show lack of interest in a certain thought, it will not gain strength and would not be powerful.
Your thoughts affect your subconscious mind, which in turn, influences your actions in accordance with these thoughts.
Your thoughts might also pass to other minds, and affect other people.
When you focus on your dreams and goals, you will attract into your life people, who are in a position to help you with achieving your dreams.
Powerful thoughts affect your life and can affect the life of other people. Be careful of what you think.
This might seem strange and unbelievable. You donât have to accept these words, but if you analyze the kind of thoughts you think, and the kind of life you are living, you will discover interesting things. There is a correlation between onesâs thoughts and oneâs life conditions.
You are a manifestation of the Universal mind. The power of your mind is part of the creative power of the Universe, which means that your thoughts work together with it.
As Within, So Without, As above, So below.
It can be interpreted in multiple ways, yet, the most suitable meaning would be:
As Within â What do we think within ourselves So Without â Will be expressed or reflected on the world we live. As above â As in Heaven â (Your own mind) So below â So on Earth â (In your body and environment) If we think good, good will follow; if we think evil, evil will follow. Whatever we think or accept (consciously) will definitely be the circumstances of our life.
While the context more specifically defines the meaning of the phrase, on a general level it simply expresses the interconnectedness of all things. So the saying can be more explicitly stated as âAs inside you, so outside of youâ.
The force of life exists inside us and around us.
There is an ocean of energies, and even though we cannot perceive them with our five senses, they have a profound effect on us. One such energy is life energy, known as chi in China and as prana in Sanskrit. The world we are all familiar with, the physical world of matter, is not the only one in which we move and interact. Your physical body may walk in the world of matter, but a subtler aspect of you, woven within and throughout your physical body, moves and interacts on a level of pure energy.
Science shows us that everything is made up of energy. Itâs in the building block of all matter. The same energy that composes your body is also the one that makes up bricks of the house you live in. Your car, phone, animals, trees, you name it, are all composed of energy. Itâis all the same and itâs all constantly âflowingâ and changing form. Itâs impossible to isolate ourselves from the universe observer isolating ourselves because we are an integral part of it.
From a spiritual viewpoint, we are deathless souls using a physical, energy-body to gain experiences here on Earth. The body is the vessel used by the soul, just as a car is driven by a driver.
Since we and everything around us is energy, we must also be connected with everything. We are entangled.
If we take this one step further, it would mean that the way you think and feel can change the world for the better. Thinking positive thoughts can influence those around you, causing a ripple in the energetic ether. Itâs like a boomerang. What you send out comes back to you with a stronger force.
If you are sending out positive vibrations, reflecting your true emotions and feelings, then the âboomerangâ will come back to you with positive events, people and circumstances, which we often view as âcoincidencesâ.
The same goes for negative emotions and thoughts such as worry, anger, hate etc. The âboomerangâ will catch up with you sooner or later and return your negativity through experiences or events. Remember, every thought or action has an effect or consequence. The nature of that effect depends upon the nature of the cause. If the cause is good, the effect will be good. But, if the cause comes from negative thoughts or evil, then the results will be equally negative or evil. Therefore, itâs essential to:
Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become your character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.
Is the inner world â the real world and can we dictate our outer world with what we think?
Quantum Physics tells us that everything vibrates; everything is energy, and our thoughts are cosmic waves filled with potent energy. It seems we are all one energy and that we are all part of âa seaâ filled with energy.
Our thoughts matter because we are part of a universal consciousness. By thinking and feeling, we are sending out cosmic waves which contribute to creating the universe as move through it.
Scientists tell us that the universe is rapidly expanding, yet no-one can understand why. However, if we are part of the creation, by using our thoughts and feelings in our inner world, then it all starts to make sense.
Religion and Science are fast approaching each other. From a scientific viewpoint, we see experimental evidence suggesting that we are all part of One Mind, One Energy, and a Universal Consciousness. From a religious perspective, we are told that we are particles of God.
The more research that our quantum physicists do in this field, the more they realize that there is a power greater than us â a universal power, a power of pure energy and pure consciousness.
The state of the world today is a result of collective human consciousness. The current state of the world is a direct representation of the average vibration that humanity is operating from. War, famine, fear, violence, hatred, frustration and conflict are all found in the world because they are within the internal state of humanity. But, at the same time, we are witnessing growth, love, kindness, expansion, forgiveness and change. This is, and it is happening on the planet today.
