I'll put things under the cut bc spoilers obviously.
First of all, ty anon, this has def been hard for me as I had a really bad time with the last ep and I appreciate your kindness. 💚
Okay, so, I hate it. Basically that's the easiest way to put it. I'm hurt and angry.
Frenchie's death in the prev ep killed me, and I was actually fine until Butcher's death. Genuinely was watching it like a normal episode until then, laughing, chilling, then it just shot me in the face.
Hugie killing him was fitting, I do like that part, but God I'm so sad about Terror. I think Butcher got the best ending he could've, he deserved it and he and Hughie were on good terms still.
Homelander. Honest opinion? I don't care. By this ep I already was genuinely hating him and just didn't care what was happening. 🤷🏼♀️. I guess I was just numbed and lost all interest. It was really damn hard to watch him regress like that, it just felt so fast and stupid, like it makes sense but still. Idk, that's just me. I just hate him atp.
Ofc I'll mention Kevin's death, I really wasn't convinced he was going to die tbh, I read the comics and thought maybe he'd live. Though I felt nothing when he died either, it was just a normal death to me I guess. Just kinda, meh. Ofc I'm definitely disappointed, but with how the show had been going, it's just not that crazy for me.
I will mention the stupid thing of Annie and Hughie naming their baby Robin, like sure I read someone's thoughts about how it's actually kind of sweet as it's how they met and stuff, but idk, I hate it. Which makes it kind of silly that I'll be making an rp blog for their kid, She'll go by her middle name Willamina, or Willa. Anyways...
Yeah idk, I'm glad MM had his happy ending and took Ryan with him, I'm heartbroken for Kimiko, I'm pissed Vought didn't really change at all, and idk. The show has fucked me up a good bit this season. My personal canons exclude basically all of s5 and probably most of s4.
All in all, I'm upset. I feel like it was rushed and didn't really give us a real goodbye. Idk, it really affected my feelings about the show and it's definitely affecting my attachment to the fandom.
