And there it is. My current clan in all its entirety. God there are so many things wrong with deer right now that the other species don’t suffer with. Broken images? It’s a deer thing. If I switched species, they’d show up just fine. And ohh don’t get me started with deer shaman. Certain markings just don’t show up. All the Sol on pic 2? Supposed to have Rust Tiger. And I don’t know what’s up with Silent Night on pic 5, but they’re supposed to have some dark Olive Tiger Half on top of that White Tabby. Ughh, the preview for it was soo good..

All the names are pure mind vomit. Don’t take any of ‘em seriously. Seriously.

I need 18 Water Plantains. Anyone wanna trade me those for an assortment of Level 1 and 2 Deer Herbs? I’ve Sage, Purple Cornflowers and Bitterroots.

Reason X why I miss the Shoutout Box: Can no longer tell people to come beat me up so that I don’t have to manually remove 30+ pets on a depleted territory square

Wow. I currently have 49 members in my clan, 13 of which are babies. I know there are people out there with way more than me, but territory farming is starting to become quite a task. Plus with that many available members, I have a higher chance of getting more. Not that that’s a bad thing, but it just goes to show what happens when you really get the ball rolling in the territory game.

hello! i see youre on clanheart? i didnt see many news about it and it seems i cant make an account since its an alpha? is there some kind of registration day or something? id like to join too :(

Unfortunately Clanheart is currently in closed Alpha. I’m not sure when they’ll open doors, they were in Pre-Alpha limbo for quite a while (over a year at least). It’s only very recently that Clanheart became a playable thing (before that, it was just forums and speculation).

Currently Clanheart is still in development. There’s a lot of issues to work out, the game being a work in progress and all. There will however be a Clanheart Kickstarter! I believe the date is now sometime this winter (originally it was during the fall, but Clanheart got a lot more popular than anticipated so there was quite a few delays).

I believe the reason why the KS is so late for a game of this magnitude is because the creators wanted some sort of product to be able to be seen by people before asking for the money to fund it (which is pretty awesome of them because there are horror stories out there of successfully funded KS projects where the project creator never delivered, but it must be tough on the Clanheart creators right now because they’re essentially paying out of their own pocket).

Anyways, I think the process for Clanheart’s development is Pre-Alpha>Alpha>KS>Beta>Opening. I have no idea if Beta will be open, or if it’ll only be available to the alpha testers or something else. Clanheart itself will most likely not be ready and available to the public til mid to late 2016 at the rate they’re going. All I can say is patience, but from what I’m seeing, it’s gearing up to be absolutely amazing when they do finally open!

Ye, I am quite pleased with today’s progress.

Got Miahn to level 23 before the battle glitch was fixed. You shall be missed. They’ve made it to the first page of the Level Rankings, though I don’t know for how long they’ll be staying.

Traded off Mysterious Vegetable for Fierce Sea Tiger there. The late MV is a twin clone of Smol Carrot who is a double marking baby. Apparently ppl really like the double markings. I don’t blame em, but I do like me some tiger hell yeah.

Anyways, got another rando, Too Much Soul who I paired with So Bright Much Sol. The offspring of that I traded off for Background Character. (The baby was a very peach colored thing, nothing to be missed.) BC there really just blends in, heh.

Later, got another two randos. Eyeburner Actual Alien and the 2spoopy Demon in Disguise. Promptly bred ‘em together for another double marking The Offspring. I’m planning on sticking The Offspring and Smol Carrot together. Fortunately they’re compatible and I am quite curious how that breeding is going to end up. eue

Ersatz, how does the whole battle thing work anyway??? ;n; do you mind explaining?

Clanheart’s battle system is super simple, but it’s a bit rough to start out with. Assuming all your pets are level 1, and you only have a small amount of sd (like, beginning amount 10k small), you’re going to be very dependent on luck to get through your first fights.

I’m assuming you have a passing idea of how the whole gathering system works? If you’re lucky, you may have found a familiar (Lune knows, I haven’t). Stick that puppy on your main fighter first of all.

Familiars in CH are actually helpful in fights. I believe they give you a small stat boost and they have a random chance of doing damage in fights. It’s random though.

Your first few fights are going to be very dependent on luck. Click on any occupied territory tile that is not someone’s home square and you will have the option of challenging any pets in that square to a fight. At first, all you’ll be doing is spamming the Auto-Attack button until you win. Pets attack simultaneously so if at the end of the battle, both of you have 0 or less HP, it’s a draw. You’re gonna have a lot of draws at first. Don’t worry, there’s no penalty to losing and you can immediately challenge the same enemy until you get that win.

When you do get a victory, you’ll get some exp and sd. Just keep battling pets until you gain a couple levels. Oh! And a little trick to infinite grinding: usually when you challenge an opponent, when defeated, your adversary will be kicked off the territory square. In order to not deplete your available opponents, find a territory square with two or more pets and always target any but the very first one. For some reason, as long as you don’t defeat the very first pet in line, you can fight the second, third, etc. place for as many time as you like.

You’ll also notice that once you get the ball rolling on those levels, you’ll amass quite a bit of sd. With that, you can grab an elemental ability over in the Territory Shop for 100k sd. If you equip one of those to your pet and give ‘em a good level up (the ability that is, costs sd, not cd which is I believe a typo), you can cause mass mayhem and destruction to all your opponents. Seriously.

i got Miahn a Thunder because it sounded super cool, I mean it’s elemental magic, isn’t that cool? And I was getting quite a lot of sd from grinding so yeah

Then I noticed, hey, apparently you can level up these abilities for sd? I was a bit confused at first because the level up button said cd and not sd and I figured it was a typo because it was taking my sd so i did it. Quite a bit because it was very cheap.

So, here’s Miahn getting a crit with a level 30 Thunder ability.
