Watch me combine two of my fandoms,

I love Ducktales, both iterations (and the movie), Darkwing Duck, etc.

I really enjoy watching it and it brings me so much joy!

The comics too! Whether it's a special, pocket, or just a normal comic, donald duck has always managed to put a smile on my face and that will never change.

Short rant incoming: I loved the 1980's/2000's Donald Duck Comics, not every little thing was censored and they actually had flaws!

I think i'm most angry about the change in Scrooge, to be honest with you.

In older strips he's much more..., how do i say this? Meaner? No, but i can't think of anything else atm.

He hits Donald with his walking stick (the utter horror! /j) And is more directly annoyed(?) At Donald, sure, but they also have such a deep bond! Let's take one old strip i have for example (from 2011), in the end HDL ask Donald why he's not mad at Scrooge for being mean (not explaining the whole story, sorry lol), and Donald replies something along the lines of "I know that deep down he loves me." (Yay, peak uncle) AND THAT MAKES ME BAWL EVERY TIME.

+ I miss his rifles/guns and canon, they just ripped those out of the strips! What the heck man, we're over-babying children so much.. I think it's actually bad and doing the opposite of protecting them from bad influences. (That's another story for another time).

WHERE am i going with this?

Well, in short, in the newer strips Scrooge just isn't 100% Scrooge anymore and it's because of Child-Protective sensors. They just literally took a chunck of his character and went "Oh you want this? Too bad! Get rid of it!".

And that pisses me of.

Do i seem a lot more annoyed than normal? Yes, apologies, i just have beef with some Duckverse stuff.

Ducktales '17:

I really like this show (Though i CAN critique it if necessary).

Again, love Scrooge, big fan.

But sometimes i think, "That's not the same".

Yes i seem delusional, and you may say "Oh but Luna! Of course characters change over time!".

I know! I know! Fair point, but just wanted to point out it bothers me just a bit. Lol.

Also, Scrooges Voice Actor? David Tennant?

MARVELLOUS job at voicing him! I feel like David is THE best option at a Voice Actor for Scrooge! (The glazing is CRAZYYY...).

In short: I really like David's accent and voice and it fits Scrooge.

Okay so remember when i said "Mash two of my fandoms together"? Yeah that was a trap to make you listen to my Duckverse yapping AND my Good Omens yapping, you're welcome, it's basically a 2 in 1 post.

WHY is he in everything i watch? No idea. Do i mind? Also no.

I kid you not, the first time i watched good omens last Wednesday, yes i started watching it the day season three came out because i finally HAD motivation to watch it, smite me if you must—

The first time i watched Good Omens i lowkey forgot David Tennant voiced Scrooge, so i just went "Oh, i remember that name from somewhere..." And i KID YOU NOT. I heard Crowley talking and just went ".. Wait- WAIT A MINUTE, SCROOGE?! ..."

Yeah uhm, that was fun.

Crowley's my favorite tbh, i just finished Season 1 and i'm so exited to start season 2! (And three).

Like WDYM this silly little Demon who fell- Sauntered vaugely downwards is cool?

I love him, his character is awesome and i can yap about it for a long time. He's my favorite (duh), i lowkey kin him and he's so me fr.

But i'm so similair to both Crowley and Aziraphale that i just couldn't choose who i'm most like and that irritates me, like wdym i'm super similair to both of them. (Favorite character for the win, can i get a whooo? /ref).

Okay i think i'll stop yapping, sorry lol, felt like it today.

Apologies for the really messy and sometimes "wtf are you saying" writing, i just had to get all of that out of my system and had no idea how to write it down.
