Jung Daehyun… there is so much that I could say about him that I’m not quite sure where I should even start. He is someone who is very special to me, one of my best friends, and I can’t believe that I’m lucky enough to have him in my life. From the moment we met we got along well and I knew that he was special. Sometimes you meet people and you wonder if they’re genuinely that nice or that sweet; Dae is the kind of person that makes you wonder that. The thing is though, the more you get to know him the more you realize that he truly is that beautiful of a soul. He’s completely selfless and one of the most empathetic individuals I have ever met. His heart is big, always willing to help someone in need. He takes so much onto his shoulders, always looking out for those around him without ever asking for anything in return. Aside from his sweet nature he has a hilarious sense of humour and impeccable taste in music (if you ever need a ballad he is the one to go to). There’s been countless moments when I didn’t think that I’d be able to smile but he had me laughing so hard I cried. Not only is he thoughtful with how he thinks but his word choices are beautiful too; often when he’s giving advice or speaking about his thoughts it sounds like poetry. If there was one thing that I had to tell the world about Jung Daehyun it would be that I love him very much and I’m grateful for everything he has ever done for me. There are those people who you find yourself leaning on and he has given me support without ever wavering. Dae is that person who is always there for you when you need them and my only hope is that I can continue to do the same for him. I often feel like I need to repay him for all of the love and guidance he has shown me. Lil Dae, you’re beautiful. Thank you for existing, I love you.

🍓 ° It was scary to admit such a personal thing to the other girl considering they were only just getting to know each other but she couldn’t help the words that had spilled forth. It was a step she had taken, to trust the other, and after hearing her comforting words of advice she didn’t regret admitting her secret. As she nodded her head to show she was listening, she looked at her with a timid expression. A hand reached up to tuck her hair behind her ear as she frowned at the comments Seulgi had heard about herself. Chaeyeon never would have thought people could say such things about her and it served to provide another perspective she’d never even considered before. “I don’t know where people would get that from, I think you’re lovely.” She couldn’t help but to reassure her new friend before accepting the words of wisdom, “You’re right... I need to remember that they don’t really know me. I guess it’s just part of the dream we set out for, right? I’ll try my best to ignore the comments and to remember that not everyone even sees them, just like I didn’t know anyone ever said such things about you.”

Swift movements were occurring in between their conversation that rendered him to a dreary expression in the unfolding moment, which was uncommon for him as he wasn’t able to say anything in response. It wasn’t the fact that he didn’t know what to convey, but it was rather a silence of appreciation when his dark chestnut orbs were fixated onto hers, knitted in concern as there was a precise smile faintly painting on the outline of his lips. Even the pushing of her words were quite limitless because of the encouragement and the ease that lifted the boulder against his shoulders. He could almost describe the feelings as a tranquil and kindhearted one that he rarely sees. It was like the sky clearing up in the new beginning after he wakes up from the pit of darkness that surrounded him. 

Out of confidence, his plump lips curled to another appreciative smile on the acknowledgements she formed in return. Time doesn’t determine the relationship between people, but it’s the moments where they’re both frank about everything that establishes more of a fond one. “And I appreciate every word that you said to me. Maybe I just needed some encouragement or company to let myself know that even if I feel like I’m alone in this world, I’d have my companions like yourself. I’m determined that I’ll remember and know what was the solution to this when time allows me to have it. I’ll always be by your side as well.” 

🍓 ° There were a few people in this world whose minds fascinated Chaeyeon; one of them was Daehyun’s. During moments of silence the younger girl could often find herself wondering what sort of thoughts were roaming through his head. He was a boy filled with secrets, things he would keep to himself and no one else, but slowly she would be shown glimpses of what those thoughts were. Each time she saw a piece of them she became greedy for more. As she let his words hang in the air she took her time to curiously ponder at what he must have been thinking in that moment. Her curious eyes peered at him and she finally reached out to take his hand into her own. Holding onto it tightly, she gave him a comforting squeeze before nodding her head. 

“We all need a little bit of encouragement sometimes, myself included.” Though her voice was soft, almost a whisper, her words were unwavering as she spoke to him. “It’s so easy to forget that we’re not alone. I think we’re all lucky to find each other and I know that I’m especially lucky to find you.” It was only for a few more seconds that she let her words linger before she tugged his hand and stood up, “Let’s go somewhere, do something. Anything you like.” Offering a bright smile in his direction, she tilted her head. “What do you say?”

The rumours are true: @chojeongs​ is small and cute. For the last year I’ve been lucky enough to promote with her in IOI but that’s not what you want to hear about, right? I don’t know if I have properly expressed how much I care about her, I’ve been clumsy with my feelings, but now I will try my best to. There’s times when I feel sorry to her, wondering if I should have pestered her a little more or checked up on her more. I have this overwhelming feeling of wanting to look after her. Her smile and personality are equally as bright, that girl can make me laugh so hard sometimes. She truly is precious to me. I hope that our paths continue to exist parallel to each other. Even though IOI is ending I hope that we’ll grow to become even closer and even more comfortable with each other. Yoojungie is the kind of girl you can’t help but smile around and the type that you’d just want to hug randomly. I want to look out for her, tell her funny jokes and read her palm for fortune telling. Yoojung-ah, if you’re reading this go to bed! You’re probably sleepy 💕

Jimin, where do I start? I still remember when we first met. I told him lots of jokes and he actually laughed at them. I think that my soft spot grew for him when I realized that he really valued people. I feel like it’s so easy for us to get swept up with the idea of meeting loads and loads of new people without actually forming deep connections with them but with Jimin I could feel that he truly wanted to be my friend right from the start. Sometimes he feels like someone I knew a long time ago. Not really a specific person but he just sort of feels like a long lost friend? Someone who you used to know and were lucky enough to get reconnected with. He’s funny, weird and very sweet. Some of my fondest memories with Jimin are when we laughed about this weird video that was edited for the Bee movie. It was the entire movie sped up faster and faster every time the word bee was mentioned and the two of us were laughing hysterically about it. I also enjoy helping Jimin choose good pictures of himself, I’m like the ultimate icon helper! We joke a lot and I don’t often say such sentimental things to him but I must admit that I feel very protective over this little jokester. I may be younger but sometimes I feel like an older sister. I just want to look out for him, help him meet other lovely people and encourage him with whatever he is up to.
