To the person who wished Tumblr writers would go back to long fic writing instead of the same recipe one-shots over and over - I’m with you, I get it. You also hit the nail on the head though, we can’t because everyone has the attention span of a flea. Additionally, fanfiction on Tumblr is dying out. Do you know how fucking stupid I feel when I post a 20 chapter fic, with a word count that is comparable to a novel, and the only chapters that get remotely any interaction are the smutty chapters? And even then it’s like, 16 likes. Woo fucking hoo! So glad I put my whole heart and ass into it for shitall.

Your best bet is AO3. Personally I always preferred Tumblr (in the past) for the ability to customize and the bigger sense of community, but all that is dead now. Even fellow writers no longer interact with other writers. We’re not supporting one another’s endeavors anymore. Most of us barely log on now. Tumblr has become a place to occasionally reblog gifs, and even the gif makers who tirelessly edit all the fucking time are getting significantly less interaction than they used to. People want something for absolutely nothing, and sorry bitches, but we aren’t willing to give it anymore. as someone who is well versed in how ai writes fiction, (i had an era of getting it to write fanfiction. yes i’m ashamed and no longer use it after understanding the moral and ethical problems that come with it) there are SO many bts fanfic writers that use it.

the constant italics, the one word descriptions repeated two or three times (eg. his lips were soft. steady. grounding.), the overuse of similes that don’t have any depth to them, the repeated words and lines, like oh my fucking god it’s genuinely getting out of hand
