Seconded- what you're ignoring here is that "trans men are just confused women" is:
a) an act of transphobia that goes deeper than just misunderstanding/misgendering,
People who say this do not actually believe we're Women, But Confused, the same way transmisigynists do not actually believe trans women are Men, But Predatory (if they did, why wouldn't they respond the same way to them that they do to cis men who prey on women- i.e., general denial and/or acceptance (as long as they are white)?)
A core tenant of transphobia is that trans people are not seen as a part of, or equal to, cis binary genders. Trans men are not seen as men, but we're also not seen as women; we're seen as people who are supposed to be women, but who refuse to do what we're told.
Under cispatriarchy, "trans" is not viewed as a modifier to cis binary genders that can either be accepted or not; it's a whole other class of person. It's someone outside of the system, someone who refuses to participate in the system, and someone who needs to be either taught correctly, punished until they do better, or eradicated entirely, so that the system is not threatened.
"Transmisogyny" describes a reaction to people who cispatriarchy believes are supposed to be men, but who refuse and choose to be women/ish instead.
"Transandrophobia" describes a reaction to people who cispatriarchy believes are supposed to be women, but who refuse and choose to be men/ish instead.
To say that the latter does not exist is to say that transphobia itself doesn't exist. There is no version of transphobia where a trans person can be accepted as a legitimate (but misguided) counterpart to a cis person of any gender- the fact that we are seen as rejecting, defying, and threatening the system is a crucial part of transphobia & trans experiences.
That's why "tomboys" and girls who say they're "one of the guys" are treated differently from trans men- who don't stop at dressing differently, but go on to insist that the whole system is fake, we don't have to be women, and we can claim manhood instead.
