Vi and Caitlyn are switching roles this season and I’m obsessed with it.

Vi’s finally showing her natural kindness and vulnerability. She exposes herself to situations she isn’t comfortable with such as becoming an enforcer or reciprocating Caitlyn’s hug when she’s unfamiliar with touches that aren’t meant to do harm. Even standing in front of a child she doesn’t know to protect her from the woman she loves. She’s attempting to find solutions to things without fists speaking first. Obviously in her situation, violence is demanded, but we know she doesn’t want to go after Jinx at all.

And Caitlyn, what to say about her. She doesn’t even wait for an explanation before her gun is right in front of her target’s eyes. She’s always shooting, bullets or words. She’s so blinded by her rage, she forgot what she’s shooting for. The naive, innocent girl we met in season 1 is buried under layers of grief. Only her determination and perfect aim is left, and shooting with closed eyes doesn’t let you differentiate between an actual criminal and the woman that loves you.
