Interview: Challah Levy, District 9
Caesar Flickerman: Ladies and Gentleman, it's time for our next lovely lady. Please, put your hands together for the adorable, Challah Levy!
Challah: *fakes a smile, waving to the audience before sitting down next to Caesar* Good evening, Caesar!
Caesar Flickerman: Good evening to you too Challah. How are you doing? Has the Capitol been treating you well?
Challah: I'm well, thank you, and you? The Capitol has been lovely.
Caesar Flickerman: *nods* Well great, great... a girl of few words here, aren't you sweetie? *crowd awwws* Tell us, are you feeling nervous about all of this?
Challah: *blushes and smiles* I suppose I'm a bit nervous, but isn't everyone? It's not every day I get to speak to the entire country.
Caesar Flickerman: Yes, yes well I guess that's true. *crowd awwws again* Well, let's get you comfortable with everyone hmmm? Tell us a little about life back in District 9.
Challah: Life was...quiet back home, I guess you could say. My family owned a bakery, you see. It was enjoyable, though. Not as elaborate and fancy as it is here, of course, but it was home. *shrugs*
Caesar Flickerman: *nods as he listens* Yes, it's hard to be as exquisite as the Capitol! I can see why you're such a quiet girl! I bet they miss you a lot, is there anything that you'd like to say to them today?
Challah: Oh, yes, of course. I'm miss them too, and all the cakes *laughs*, but I'm going to try my best to get back home. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
Caesar Flickerman: Speaking of that, you received an 8 in your private training. That's a surprising score for a quiet girl from an outlying District. Were you surprised by it at all?
Challah: Very surprised, actually! I wasn't expecting to score as high as I did. It's given me some hope and confidence, if that makes any sense. I couldn't ask for a better turnout.
Caesar Flickerman: Oh it does make sense, it does. I think we're all curious to know exactly what you did in there... could you share anything with us at all? *crowd ooohs*
Challah: I don't think I'm supposed to share much, but I did leave a little surprise for the trainers. *winks*
Caesar Flickerman: Ahhh, well I guess we're going to have to just wait to see you in action in the arena then, won't we? *crowd cheers* It must've been good if you caught the eye of Capitol sponsor, Artemis. Do you think you'll be able to win her over?
Challah: I guess you will. I hope I can, since I'll need all the help I can get. Having a sponsor on my side will definitely improve my chances of winning.
Caesar Flickerman: Yes, I would say it will. Well, Challah sweetheart, that's all the time we've got. Let's wish her some luck, huh folks? A big round of applause! *crowd cheers as Caesar shakes her hand*
Challah: *shakes his hand* Thank you for having me, Caesar! It was lovely meeting you. *smiles as she walks off the stage*
