Laela: Thanks for bringing me here Mom. I really needed it, even though I know I am going to be sore tomorrow.
Harper: No problem sweetie. I could tell you were extremely tense the last time we talked. Is anything improving?
Laela: A little bit. August has been working on getting more at home work. He hasn’t had to go on a trip for a few months now, so I guess that is good?
Harper: Everything will eventually work out. Just give it some time.
Masseuse: Your hands are extremely tight.
Laela: I’m a mom and a photographer.
Masseuse: Yes. That explains it.
Laela: Ow!
Masseuse: Sorry. You are almost done.

August: What is this Miles?
Miles: I don’t know...
August: It’s an owl. Can you say that? Owl.
Miles: Oval.
August: We will work on it.
August: I’m sorry about that, but you know it’s for my job.
Laela: I know. But you’re overworking yourself. We always talked about having a big, close family, but that just seems like a dream now.
August: I know you want another kid, but I can’t just completely give up my job. I’ve been working closely with my boss to try and get more jobs near home. I should have a break from traveling for a while. I’ll be around more to father our children, just like I said I would.
August: Laela, should we really be here?
Laela: What do you mean? Don’t you want to have some time to ourselves?
August: I do. But Marielle and Mason came all the way to Oasis Springs to visit us, and we are making them babysit. That’s not fair.
Laela: They offered. I thought it would be perfect. I rarely see you anymore.
Miles: Do you do this everyday?
Laela: I try to.
Miles: It’s so much fun! Can I join?
Laela: Of course silly.
Laela: You’re such a good baby. You hardly ever cry.
