➜ - smack my muse upside the head (for Draven from Darius)
Draven usually stayed in Noxus. He had a job to do, one that he didn’t let anyone else do because no one else could do it in style like he could. However, sometimes even he had to leave Noxus and run onto the battlefields of war, screaming and running in a blaze of glory. How he hadn’t been killed yet boggled everyone’s mind, sometimes even Darius, due to how show-offy and reckless Draven could be.
Though this time, he almost didn’t make it.
Draven’s need to show off lead him to tunnel visioning on a few specific Demacian soldiers and terrorizing them. A scout slipped by, unnoticed by Draven, and pulled out a small knife. The set up was perfect - the executioner would never see the scout coming. He had no idea he was behind him... He raised his arm to strike Draven right through the spine, only to have a hand grab the scout by the arm.
He screamed as his arm was bent back, bones cracking and a distinct pop indicating his arm was no longer in its socket. His howling was enough to make Draven spin around, only to see his older brother holding this poor scout hostage as he tried to writhe and get away, his little dagger clinking uselessly off the large metallic breastplate that Darius wore.
“Bro.” Draven gasped, holding a hand to his chest. “Did you just save my life?”
“Yes.” Darius grunted, finally letting go of the scout and giving him a rough kick forward. The young soldier took off running, his arm hanging uselessly at his side.
“You’re the best older brother, you know that? You really look out for me. You’re like a llama watching his sheep on a farm. I say that because you’re as tall as a llama and you’d probably spit someone right in the eyes if you had to. You also look as upset as a llama, why are you-?”
A dull thud and an ‘OW!’ only emphasized the power behind the slap Darius had given Draven right upside the head.
“I’ll pay more attention, I promise.”
The harder Draven smiled as though to really emphasize that promise, the harder Darius scowled.
“Right, well, I’ll catch up with you later Dar, there’s a few people I need to finish what I started with and, yep, I’ll be more aware of my surroundings and-”
“Just go.” Darius rubbed his temple as his brother took off, his other hand tightly holding onto the handle of his over-sized battle axe.
Draven was an idiot, but he was Darius’s idiot.
