Diantha's brows rose and she pressed her lips together in something that couldn't quite be called a frown. "If you feel that way I won't bother you with my opinions, then."

“Très magnifique!” She sat and waited as he made them their coffee. “How have you been, mon cher?”

— Augustine stepped over to the counter, taking out some coffee that he had made recently. It was still fresh and steaming as he poured it into two mugs, carrying it over and offering one to Diantha. “I’ve been doing quite well, very tired, but well. Research has been lagging a lot these days…”

— “And how have you been doing? Well, I hope.”

"Merci," she took the mug and held it to her face to blow softly on it to cool it. "I'm glad you're doing well. I am-- very busy." She chuckled. "But Kathi Lee has promised me a few days off to enjoy the city, so that will be nice."

Excuse you? This is unacceptable. I, too, am new to Pokemon. As a 23 year old I only just recently began playing Pokemon and have only played one game all the way through. 

Everyone has to start somewhere. And from what I've seen the mun is very sweet and nice and knows her stuff. And even if she didn't there is no reason to send shit like this to people. So don't be an ass, nonnie, and go get a life.

She smiled warmly as he took the toy, hoping it gave him so comfort. “I wonder how you got here.” She mused. It wasn’t every day that one found wild Pokemon wandering the streets of Lumoise City. Even strays were uncommon. “You don’t seem to have much experience with us humans.”

The waiter returned, setting down her coffee and pastry and setting the bowl of water and apple down on the table. If he wanted to the Pikachu could reach it, as the table was low enough for him to stretch up to it.

He couldn’t help but lay there and watch the woman talk to him, the plush actually helping more than he thought it would. 

He jumped yet again as the waiter came into view with the drinks and food. Once the apple and water bowl were sat down on the table he heard his stomach growl rather loudly again, oh man that apple looked good.

"Bon appetite, little one." She said with a smile, sipping her coffee. "Don't worry, nothing will happen to you if you leave your little corner."

"Coffee, please. And a pastry." Diantha ordered as the waiter came to the table. He looked down at the Pikachu and then back up at her. "And my new friend here will have your finest apple." She told him. "And perhaps a small bowl of water as well." She watched the poor creature cower in the corner and wished she could help some how.

"My name is Diantha," she told him, as though introducing herself might make him feel better. "You know— I have something here—" she dug into her purse and pulled out a small stuffed jiggly puff. The Pokemon toy had comforted her own Pokemon more than once. Maybe it would do the same for the Pikachu.

Diantha leaned over and slowly placed it on the booth near the Pikachu. “You can have that, if you’d like.” She smiled.

The Pikachu jumped a little as the waiter came into view, it was a relief when he left the two of them. So Diantha was her name huh? He shouldn’t be judging anyone’s name seeing as how he doesn’t really have one himself. 

His head snapped to her purse, hoping and praying to Arceus that it wasn’t a Pokeball. He was very relieved when she pulled out a small stuffed Jiggypuff doll. He tilted his head a bit, this grown woman carried around stuffed Pokemon dolls in her bag? That was a bit odd he thought, watching her hand as she set it down in front of him. 

Strictly out of curiosity, he leaned his head forward a little, sniffing at the doll before turning a bit and poking it with his tail. He slowly reached forward with his little yellow arms and took hold of the doll, pulling it in close and going back to his corner, curling up with the soft plush.

She could feel his little heart racing and she she tried to ease him with gentle words. “We’ll be there soon, I promise.” She moved swiftly and found the Café, smiling at the man who opened the door for her. She found a table in the very back corner with a booth on one side, carefully lowering the Pikachu onto the booth. “There you go,” she whispered. “All safe and sound.” And away from many of the other patrons.

Once they were in the cafe the noise had died down significantly; the only real noise anymore was a small amount of chatter and the clinking and clanging of people eating food and drinking coffee. 

Being set down in the booth was the best thing ever, he hated being held, and being held by a human no less was something he never thought would happen. He immediately curled up and scooted over to the corner of the booth closest to the wall. He just wanted this whole situation to be over and done with, he just wanted to go home.

                         The ginger massaged his forehead for a moment before brushing his hair back. “So I’m guessing you’ll be accompanying me, non?”
