"2 YEARS" SERIES BY AUSTIN CH AND SOWAIBAH SH

The GIFS are done by compiling single photographs into an animation while the model moves in real time, recreating a rather choppy, stop-motion effect.

"2 YEARS" expresses the fallacies in defining existence. Presenting the subject in insignificant moments, the individual struggles to understand the world around her whilst embracing in daily rituals. The water in which the subject is submerged in, represents the secondary organic body. Like lovers, the subject is initially joyous in the warmth of the water. But eventually the subject becomes distant and dissatisfied.
