 Based on her analysis, Komaeda’s knee was injured, It wasn’t anything major, but still, she needed to apply bandages to stop the bleeding. “Please, don’t s-say such things! Y-your not a w-worthless scum Komaeda-san!” The nurse had just returned from a small trip to the nurses office and that’s when she spotted one of her classmates tumbling down the stairs. Of course, as the Ultimate Nurse, there was no way she could just ignore him. 

“Komaeda-san a-are you feeling well?” reaching a hand out to take his temperature, Mikan was able to conclude that he wasn’t sick in any way, but It would be best If he were to get some rest. 

“L-let’s go to the Nurse’s office, you should sleep for some time.”

         the hopes peak academy student had FLIPPED the bad side of the coin it seemed; however, nagito knows this is always bound to happen, it’s been his fate ever since childhood after all. he has always WAVERED between the good and bad side of things. there’s a fatigued smile pulling at his lips as she’s going through all this trouble for SOMEONE like him, with no value or significance.    

                ‘ — heh, i’m still conscious, that’s good right? ’ waves of pain PULSATE through his skull as she takes his temperature, the signs of pain revealed through his smile, until his cover is (finally) fully blown. ‘a-actually, i might’ve hit my head a little too hard against the wall.. ’ he replies rather weakly, staggering as he struggles to stand a bit.

“I see… Luck-based games with a lot of RNG would be your type, I think.  You should try some. Games are really fun.” Nanami’s head was now fully locked onto Komaeda’s person. He was gently laughing now, with what appeared to be a warm smile on is face. (Or was that a different kind of smile..?) She couldn’t help but think that it was strange that he approached her so suddenly, but that must mean something good, right? It was nice to talk to people. At least, it was nice every once and a while.

“For me, I try to play games whenever I can. And… since I can almost always make time for games, I play them a lot. I can’t remember the exact amount of games I’ve played… but each one is a good experience.” She could only recall all the times she got in trouble in lower grades for playing games constantly during class. How strange it was that that behavior was encouraged now.

“Komaeda-kun, what do you do with your free-time? It seems weird to me… I never imagined that there were people who don’t play video games.”

                    it was EXPECTED of the ultimate gamer to have tried so many games in her lifetime, after all the talent BLOSSOMED in that field. it was an envious talent, after all, luck wasn’t really that special of an ability to wield. ‘ i see. you’ll have to recommend some to me then, was the game we played with souda-san and the others a luck game then? ’ if he had to pick a genre of game personally though, puzzle games tickled his fancy the most.

                  my, my, taking INTEREST in a life so trivial such as his? truly chiaki must’ve wanted to draw out a conversation with him. ‘ what i do in my free time i-isn’t really fun i guess. i mostly read, pretty boring, huh? ’ alone in a giant mansion (no parents or canine companion) but endless amounts of literature were available to him, at least it was something to keep his boredom at bay.
